The only thing that kept this from being 5 stars was that I just didn't develop a connection to the characters. There was most definitely a lot to the story of Lincoln and Quinn. I felt like she had been through so much. The secrets that were between them were all HUGE! And it is totally understandable why they kept these things to themselves. Had they not kept these secrets then they may not have broken up for that 7 years. (but then that wouldn't have made a very good story). I totally hated Kellen and was not at all sad to see him get what he deserved (especially with the things he was saying to Lincoln about Quinn). I think that Quinn had to have been a very strong woman to have dealt with Kellen the way that she was. I really enjoyed this books. I loved the story line and loved the characters (for the most part). I would even read it again.

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book!
