Review: Love's Ache

Love's Ache Love's Ache by Ava Alise
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Liz is quite a tortured lady. She absolutely deserves to be loved and cherished! After dealing with the loss of her sister, she then also has to go through the stress of a divorce. Before she has even had time to really deal with all these things, the man who actively perused her decides he can't handle her drama....
Chris is basically a single father. He "shares" custody of his son with the mother, but he is the main parent and does a dam good job taking care of his son. One thing he never wants to do is introduce another female into their life because he always wants his son to come first and doesn't want anything to get in the way of that.
Chris and Liz decide they will have a FWB relationship. Both are going through a lot of stuff in their lives and have no room for the complications that come with the whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing. But when you spend so much time with someone, add in some phenomenal sex, the lines are bound to get blurred.
Liz gets thrown for a few loops. I could totally feel the confusion she was going through when it came to the ex that was not completely going away, but not trying to get back together. I really enjoyed watching their relationship develop and seeing them each work through the issues that are
holding them back since the story was told from both POV's. Definitely a great read! I cant wait to see more from some of the other characters, and hopefully get little updates on Chris and Liz while enjoying the other stories!
