Oh holy greatness.... this story takes "forbidden romance" to a whole other level!

Remi and her stepbrother, Ryan, live in the bad side of the city. She gets to attend a prestigious school for her senior year in high school. To say that her relationship with Ryan is inappropriate is a bit of an understatement, but she doesn't want him to be anything other than her brother and best friend. When she gets to the school she gets noticed by Pierce James, her debate teacher. He happens to see an exchange between her and Ryan that worries him, and then he noticed that he knows Ryan from his past, and it was not in a good way. He tries to stay away from Remi, but she pushes the boundaries. He never stood a chance!

Remi is a very strong and determined lady. There was no way that she was going to spend her whole life living in the crappy life she was raised in. Her relationship with Ryan was quite odd. But the relationship that she came to have with Pierce was super hot, and exactly what she needed at just the right time. He was there to give her support that she was not getting from the men in her life at home. This was a bit of a tear-jerker toward the end, and LOVED every second of it!

Until her mom took her away claiming that Zane was going to be just like his father. These 2 go through so much to be together that I was feeling gutted through out the entire book! And I was constantly getting mad at the different obstacles that kept blocking them from their happily ever after! And when they are together..... they are HOT 🔥🔥🔥. The only thing that I was unhappy about with this book was ..... DAMMIT! When can we find out if Carter and Lianne get back together FOR GOOD?!?!?

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

So if you are looking for spice, it isn't here!  But if you are looking for a heart felt, gut wrenching tale of love lost, then found again.... you are in the right place!  Mason was such a hot AF super alpha and was ready to take charge right away.  He knew he wanted it all and he wanted it with Payton!  Chase was sticking his meddling nose in where it didn't belong (AGAIN) and I was ready to figure out how to jump into the book just to punch him in the face!  But then look at him trying to redeem himself!  We shall see!  This story must have been a tough one for Meagan to tell.... they guilt and pain that Payton feels through out the whole book, over EVERYTHING and EVERYONE that she really has contact with.  But most of all the guilt about Deaton (the decease father of her son), Little D(eaton) and Mason.
