While I did love this book, I was a little disappointed. I thought I was going to love it a lot more with all they hype surrounding it. But it was a great book. I thought that Jordan was too good for Cole right from the beginning and I was not at all sad when they broke up..... but I will say that I did want to junk punch him pretty bad. And then things that he was saying had me yelling at thin air around me while at work (because that is where I was listening to it). I really felt like Jordan was super wise beyond her years and Pike just was so wrapped up in his own BS that he wasn't seeing her for real! He wasn't seeing that while he was telling her she should live her dreams, her dreams weren't that far off from his! She didn't want some young hot guy that she needed to wait on for him to get his s*** together! She needed stability. And no one could blame her for that at all. And then he would say that she was "playing games" .... I hate to break it to him but she was still in fact 19.... and she hadn't been anyone's center of attention to day. So she craved that attention!
All in all it was a great book. It did drag a whole lot of feeling out of me. And the narration was great! But I think I just expected more with all the hype. Still a book I would re-listen to and would recommend to people.
