The Joker by Ashley Munoz My rating: 5 of 5 stars Fantastic story!  Kyle and Rylie are so freaking adorable!  Friends to lovers is a favorite of mine, especially when they are friends since childhood.  Kyle was so super swoony!  I love that even when they were apart and he didn't think he would ever get to be with her again, he still kept that hope alive in himself and was keeping up with some of their traditions.  The ending did feel a bit rushed, but it still wrapped up the story and the entire series very well.  There were some interesting twists that I had not seen coming, and they had me really angry at some people!  Definitely a great story to wrap up a fantastic series!   Story      🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Spice       🔥🔥🔥🔥 Swoon      😍😍😍😍 Angst        💔💔💔 View all my reviews

Unforgettable In Love by Bella Andre My rating: 4 of 5 stars This was a great story!  I loved how Cal and Lyssa got together!  I love that they had a bit of a past, but not a long and in depth one.  I hated how Cal continued to run from his feelings, but then loved how he reacted to whole heartedly to the pregnancy!  And didn't try to lay blame or anything at all!  These brothers of hers sure needed their behinds kicked a bit for treating her like she wouldn't know what to do with her own life. The Insiders by Tijan My rating: 4 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 I am not going to lie...  I had some pretty high expectations going into this book.  And they were not met.  That doesn't mean that I didn't like it,  it just wasn't what I was expecting.  That being said, I really did enjoy it.  The relationship between Kash and Baily was kind of odd, and when they transitioned into that relationship it felt off for me.  It didn't flow together that well..... well come to find out that you get a bit of insight as to WHY it seemed that way later in the story.  I had a pretty good idea who the villain of the story would be, but I will also say that I thought others were going to have been involved that were not, so that was an interesting twist.   I am slightly annoyed that there was someone toward the beginning of the story that seemed to be an ally, and she seems to recognize him in others later on, but we didn't find o...

Hearts On Fire by Catherine Wiltcher My rating: 5 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 OMG I am so in love with this trilogy!  Dante and Eve are EVERYTHING!  And I also love Joseph! So I am very much hoping that he gets his HEA.  This story picks up where the last one left off, they are still after this trafficking ring.  It takes them all over the place.  Eve is still having a hard time with the fact that her father was involved some how and when he tries to contact her, she eventually calls and that starts a whole world of mess.  Dante is still the total alpha to the point where he gets mad at Anna for making her feeling on him known because he sees it as her trying to come between him and Eve!  Like that could ever happen!  Some of the revelations had me totally confused.... but then made sense.... and then I got confused again... there was one specific character that had my head spinning!   Narration...

Backslide by Nicole Dykes My rating: 4 of 5 stars Awwww Nash!!!  He stole my heart from the very beginning!  I have to say that I was hoping for a bit more angst from this one.  I feel like it had the potential to just rip my heart to shreds.  I did really enjoy Adriane and Nash..... And I am quite interested to get Hayden's story now! Hearts of Darkness by Catherine Wiltcher My rating: 5 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 Blown away!  I really loved this story!  Dante and Eve are FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!  I love them so much.  They are fire and passion and all over the place!  Dante surprises us with some really swoony lines!  There was something that happened that had me gasping while listening and I was so mad about it!  I am not even going to lie, I am still not over my anger about it.  This being the first in a trilogy I expected a crazy cliffhanger, but there really wasn't one.  I feel like the main part of this story was wrapped up and the next book is about the same couple, still not together, but for a whole other reason now.  So while I didn't feel like it was a anger inducing cliffy, I am still totally ready to start the next book!   The narration was awesome!  Sarah Puckett and JF Harding did a fantastic job of bringing thes...

Black Skies Riviera by Catherine Wiltcher My rating: 4 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 I have the say that I really enjoyed the ending of this book.  The twists that came about at the ending had my jaw hitting the floor.  I did enjoy this story.  I thought that the premise was good.... and I really enjoyed the banter between Aiden and Isa.  You know that there will be secrets revealed with a mafia story, but this one had a whole LOT of bombs dropping int he last few chapters!  There were some parts that I felt were a bit slow, but it wasn't intolerable.  And the violence was not outrageous, so I was able to just listen through. The narrators weren't my favorite.  It may have been all the accents involved.  There were British, French and Russian accents going around at any given time.  But it wasn't a turn off... My Life as an Album Series by L.J. Evans My rating: 5 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 ✨A TOP LISTEN OF 2022✨ This whole freaking series was A-MAZING!!!  I wrote individual reviews for each raving about them, but as a whole... the narration was PHENOMENAL!  I was pulled into all the stories and felt all the emotions that the author meant for us to feel.  Cam's story (Country Album) was the MOST HEARTBREAKING!!!  Make sure you have tissue ready.  I was SOBBING! My Life as a Rock Album by L.J. Evans My rating: 5 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 Holy intensity!!!  Damn!  I knew that Seth was going to be intense.... but WHEW he was way more so than I thought he would be.  After how things went with him and Cam in My Life as a Country Album (which I am STILL not over in case anyone was wondering!) it is hard to root for him.  But my girl Cam wanted him to get his HEA so I was totally on board with hearing his story.  First thing  I have to say is that base on only hearing about him with Cam from her POV, I did not realize how serious his feelings for her were.  When he talks about her in this story, there is totally love and admiration there!  And that caught me by surprise.  But now there is PJ.  Wonderful, sweet, INSECURE PJ.  This girl is just as self deprecating as he is!  And I began to wonder how that was going to work out?  Some one will have to get it ...

The Grump Who Stole Summer by Ella Fields My rating: 4 of 5 stars I think what I liked best about this book was the hint of bisexuality that Alice showed and no one close to her seemed to bat an eye to it!  Yeah she had the jerks at school give her a hard time.... but other than that no one cared.  Smith was most definitely a grump... and he totally needed to be junk punched! But then you would get a glimpse of some of the swooniness and then he would go right back to jerk mode..... honestly I am totally surprised that Alice didn't get whiplash.  There were a couple times where I felt that things seemed a little meshed together so I had to go back a re-read a couple pages, but it was a fairly fast paced book once you got past 20% so it wasn't that big a deal to go back now and then.  It was on the lower angst side for an Ella book, so if you are looking for your heart to ache but not get ripped out, this is a good book for you to pick up!...

Triple Threat by K. Webster My rating: 5 of 5 stars ✨Top Read of 2022!!!✨ WHAT A WAY TO START THE YEAR!!!  FIRST BOOK OF THE YEAR AND IT IS EVERYTHING!!!  Well.... that was unexpected! If you read the Cinderella trilogy then you know who the Terror Triplets are.....
