I was not the hugest fan of this book. I thought that the idea was great but I kind of feel like there was too much going on. Finley was a student who thought a guy was attractive. Turned out that he was her teacher, Cabel Jones. They end up running off together to get away from some people that are after them. But then it turns out that they are really just after him. Then while they are staying together she gets hurt, she is a bit whiny and doesn't listen to what she is told at all! In a life threatening situation you would think that after the first 2 times she messed up while not doing as she was told would have taught her to listen. But really there was just too much going on and went through it really quickly. I dont know what the second book is about, but I kind of feel like this one on its own could have been made into 2 books with how much drama/action there was. It was not a terrible book. But for me it felt like there was too much and it was being rushed through.

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book!
