I had to rehydrate before I could write this review!  Whew!!!  This was THE HOTTEST book I have read so far this year!  I was loving the story of Charlotte & Emerson.  They went circles for a while and I was wondering how long it was going to take before they gave in.  They were hot AF, they were fun, and they had a chemistry that was off the charts!  Now the whole thing with Emerson being her exboyfriend's dad wasn't much of an issue for me.  Beau was a problem for me.  He was such a jerk and then thought that he could be rude to her some more and expect her to run right back to him when he decided he wanted her (which I think was only because she was working for his dad).  The only thing that disappointed me, and took away 1/2 star, was that I really wanted Emerson to grovel more!  While I think that he did the right things to make it up to her, I felt like he really should have had to put in more to her directly.  But that is just my opinion.

The narration was ok.  I think this might have been better if it was a duet narration.  I wasn't the biggest fan of their "other sex" voices.  And I really would have preferred a different male narrator.  I didn't NOT like Jack.... I just thought someone else may have been better.  None of these things were enough to take me out of the story or cringe or speed up the audio.  
I am quite excited to get into the next one!!!

The only thing that I was unhappy about with this book was ..... DAMMIT! When can we find out if Carter and Lianne get back together FOR GOOD?!?!?

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book! So if you are looking for spice, it isn't here!  But if you are looking for a heart felt, gut wrenching tale of love lost, then found again.... you are in the right place!  Mason was such a hot AF super alpha and was ready to take charge right away.  He knew he wanted it all and he wanted it with Payton!  Chase was sticking his meddling nose in where it didn't belong (AGAIN) and I was ready to figure out how to jump into the book just to punch him in the face!  But then look at him trying to redeem himself!  We shall see!  This story must have been a tough one for Meagan to tell.... they guilt and pain that Payton feels through out the whole book, over EVERYTHING and EVERYONE that she really has contact with.  But most of all the guilt about Deaton (the decease father of her son), Little D(eaton) and Mason.
