There are times when I have absolutely no clue how to review a book because all I want to do is talk about it and I end up rambling like a hot mess..... THIS IS ONE OF THOSE TIMES!!! 
This story was EVERYTHING!  And I am so mad that it took me this long to listen to it.  And I am so glad that I listened.  The narration was PHENOMENAL!  Cali and Bradley totally took me there, like I was right in the story.  Living in their neighborhood!  This story of Sydney and Oliver had me captivated from the very first sentence!  A story about a boy that was kidnapped and then came back 22 years later... I AM HERE FOR IT!  Childhood friends to lovers.... YES PLEASE! ANd Oliver was SO FREAKING SWOONY!!!  
I had so many questions until about 50% in... and then the theories started developing!  And I had to message someone that I knew read it before.... because I had to let them know what I was thinking so that my theories were out there .... and I was right about all of it!  
This is 100% in my Top Listens of 2022.  The story, the romance, the friendships, all of it was perfection!  I loved it so hard. 

Also amusing was that I read The Thorns Remain (Evan's book) and June First (Brandt's book) and seeing them in this story was amusing!  Especially Brandt!  He was cracking me up and you would never guess how INTENSE his story is from the way he was here.  

Jennifer Hartmann is becoming one of favorites! I have not read/listened to a book of hers that I have not absolutely LOVED!  So I am a total fangirl over this author now... instant one-click.  If you have not read Lotus yet you absolutely need to.... and if you enjoy audio I recommend getting the audio on this one because it is SO worth the listen!

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book! So if you are looking for spice, it isn't here!  But if you are looking for a heart felt, gut wrenching tale of love lost, then found again.... you are in the right place!  Mason was such a hot AF super alpha and was ready to take charge right away.  He knew he wanted it all and he wanted it with Payton!  Chase was sticking his meddling nose in where it didn't belong (AGAIN) and I was ready to figure out how to jump into the book just to punch him in the face!  But then look at him trying to redeem himself!  We shall see!  This story must have been a tough one for Meagan to tell.... they guilt and pain that Payton feels through out the whole book, over EVERYTHING and EVERYONE that she really has contact with.  But most of all the guilt about Deaton (the decease father of her son), Little D(eaton) and Mason.
