Power by Cassandra Robbins My rating: 5 of 5 stars There were so many aspects to this story that made it impossible to put down.  First there is the relationship between Raven and her mother, Rachel.  It was beyond toxic.  And in many ways it really felt like Raven was more of an adult than Rachel was. Also the relationship between Rachel and Jett was just wrong on SO many levels.  That woman wouldn't know how to love anything if it smacked her in the face.  Then here is the relationship between Raven and Maria.  She is so protective of that girl and seeing how Maria acts towards Jett is hilarious! Hostile by Nicole Dykes My rating: 5 of 5 stars Another fantastic Nicole Dykes story!  There was so much about this book that I loved!  I loved that Grayson was willing to take a chance.  I loved that Rhett threw himself into supporting things that Grayson liked (like the sports he played) since Grayson had gotten really into volunteering with the kids.  I loved that they were both very inexperienced!  Grayson mentioned doing a few things before, but it was still all totally new to them both and I loved that figuring it out together!  Their separation was heartbreaking!  But I am super glad that Grayson came to his senses and realized what he needed to do to be with the man that he loved.   🎧Update from audio review! 🎧 I loved it just as much as before!  And the narration was so good it only added to the story for me! Beneath the Surface by Emily McIntire My rating: 4 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVEIW🎧 Narrated by:  Cecily Foster &  Blake Lockheart For those who have been waiting for Lily's story...... ITS HERE!!!    Now I do have to say that there were some things about Lily that still made me super angry..... but honestly, it wasn't anything that doesn't scream addict.  And yes... I know she had a rough time before she got to Sugarlake.... but if you read Beneath the Stars then you have an idea of how she behaved as a teenager and it wasn't cute.  Now... Velvet Cruelty by Eve Dangerfield My rating: 4 of 5 stars Holy HOT AF craziness!!!  January has got her work cut out for her with these 4!  Eli, Bobby, Doc & Adriano all seem to have a different kink that they are into.  So she will have a lot of learning to do!  Basically January is taken from the alter as she is about to marry Zachary Parker, by these 4 men.  They have something against Parker and she is the best way to get to him.  January is a virgin.... and while there are some VERY steamy scenes.... she makes it through the whole story with her virginity in tact (technically).  She is desperate to hold on to it because she thinks that it is the only thing keeping her alive.  (she doesn't seem to understand just how deep their obsession wit her is).  Oh coarse it ends on a cliffhanger and I am dying to get the next one to see what happens!!!  Story          🌟🌟...

The Billionaire and His Scandal by Sadie S. Black My rating: 5 of 5 stars Wow..... just wow!  This story just gets better and better!   The cliffhanger from book 1 gets cleared up and you know who, what, when and why.... but then there is another cliffhanger that happens and I am ready to know what the heck is going to fix it so that Graham and Abbie can get their HEA (along with Jude).  Natasha (Graham's exwife) worms her way back into the house and wreaks havoc on Jude's routine.  And then of coarse once Abbie and Graham get through one thing and get back to their relationship, something else happens to get in the way!  😭.... and don't even get me started in Abbie's dad!  What kind of father basically pimps out his 19 year old daughter?  And then gets mad at her for developing feelings when he knew she had them before?  Ugh!  Stupid man!  Anyway I am totally ready for book 3 now..... hop...

Black My rating: 5 of 5 stars New to me author and I AM OBSESSED!!!  I am loving Graham and Abbie's story!  While Graham is HOT AF during this book.... his swoon factor doesn't come in until the end!  And then that cliffy!  Whew!  I spent so much time reading this book while I was supposed to be working that it isn't even funny!  And there is some great mystery involved with this story too.  Abbie is the nanny got Jude, who is just an awesome kid and they have a great relationship. Tainted Blood by Cora Kenborn My rating: 5 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 Narrated by:  Vivienne LaRue & Aaron Shedlock Santi and Talia are back!!!  I love them!  That cliffy from the first book had me reeling.... so I was super glad to finally!  I can not even articulate how swoony Santi became is this story!  GAH!  Before he even knew that his sister was also taken, just for information on Talia he went above and beyond to save the one man he hated most in the rival cartel!  And then he would stop at nothing to get them back.  These 2 give me all the feels.  This book wasn't too spicy, but it was totally action packed and there was some fantastic sexual tension!   And the narration was fantastic!  Pulled me right in and wouldn't let me go!  Love this duet of books!  Hoping for more from some of the other characters in the books.... Like for Ella!  And get more about Lola and Sam!...

Friend Zone Hell by Marika Ray My rating: 4 of 5 stars Cricket and Callen have been friends since Kindergarten... and when she gets ill and doesn't want to move back home with her parents .... Callen offers to let her live with him and he will help her out.  Little does she know that he has been in love with her since they were seniors in high school.... so LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!  Then decided to try being a couple after a few awkward ALMOSTS happened.  And there were some things that they obviously had to work through.... the thing about F2L is that people think you already know all about them so there shouldn't be a lot of issues.... but this is where the insecurities come into play that weren't there when they we just best friends. Ace of Diamonds by Alta Hensley My rating: 4 of 5 stars Fantastic conclusion for this trilogy!  I felt so bad for Lyriope!  The girl just wanted to be loved, but she was not getting it from the people she should have been.  Everything that Nick went through to get her back was super swoon worthy!  And he was having to learn patience, which was not at all easy for him! Upper Hand by Amelia Wilde My rating: 4 of 5 stars I love this story, and I love where it is going.  I just think that at times it is taking too long to get there.  I love what is  going on between Elise and Gabriel.  And I think that they will be a fantastic power couple.  I think that Gabriel is trying to take on too much responsibility in this whole consortium mess..... but I love that Elise is trying to help him despite leaving that life behind.  There were a couple parts of the book that really felt like they dragged on for too long, but over all I really enjoyed the book.  And thanks to that major cliffhanger...
