Review: Gone Country

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Gavin Daniels, aka the long lost McKay son, finally comes home to Wyoming! Bringing his teenage daughter with him. He comes to town to get her away from the trouble she kept finding herself in. This great story goes a lot into Gavin’s forgiveness of his mother for giving him up at birth. He spends his time starting to build relationships with his family…. Everyone but his mother. Then there is the love story that starts between him and Riel. She has her own issues to deal with… his money is a big issue for her and she doesn’t want to become reliant on him and his money. She doesn’t want to become that woman that cant make it on her own after all the years she spent taking care of herself and daughter. You also get a story of young love. Sierra and Boone spend the year playing the “just friends” game. The love and angst of teenage emotions! I love all the McKay stories! This one is no exception. With the adoption angle it brought out a whole other set of emotions in me.
Now I can not wait to continue on with the McKay saga….. and I am totally looking forward to Sierra and Boone growing up and having a full story of their own!!!
