Review: Long Way Down

Long Way Down Long Way Down by Krista Ritchie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was the most emotional of all the books to me. Ryke and Daisy are working on their family. They get engaged, and then married. They try really hard to get pregnant. The whole family deals with some very unhappy “fans” . We also get to see the Calloway family grow some more. Hearing Daisy and Ryke describe what they see in the other couples is really interesting. You didn’t get a whole lot of that in Hothouse Flower since they spent most of that book alone. In this story you also get to see a lot more emotion from Connor. Its funny how much more evolutions you see from Connor when it isn’t even his story. I also found even more love for Lily. It is in the story of others that you finally see her developing strength.

In this story for Daisy and Ryke you get see them being crazy together. Build a life together. Daisy has found her voice with the help of Ryke and her sisters. Ryke and Lo finally have to trade brotherly roles and I think that helps them get a better handle on their relationship. For so many reasons I have completely fallen in love with this entire series. Once you get past the first book , you get a whole family dynamic. So while the book will focus on one couple, it still shows you so much of the other couples during that same time frame. I will forever love the Calloway sisters and the families they have created. And I have fully enjoyed reading about the love that it between all 6 of the characters.
