Chasing Miss Sin was a pretty decent read. I wouldn't say that it was great, but not terrible. Ellie is an Erotic novel author named Miss Sin. Chase in a kindergarten teacher.... that right there is pretty funny if you ask me. She kept this fact from him for a while, which is totally understandable. But men don't like feeling duped so he was not too happy about it. But in all reality he may have just been using this as an excuse to walk away from her. Ellie was a bit of an emotional mess, and a lot of time was spent on her getting upset. I think a bit more back story on Chase would have helped the reader understand why he really got upset. Then there was the attempt at a reconciliation with her mother, who I didn't know she had a bad relationship with. Just a couple things that could have used a bit more explanation.

  Ebbing Tides (book 2 in the Lighthouse Duology) by Kelsey Kingsley Story: 5 🌟  Swoon: 4 😍  Spice: 3🔥 Angst: 4 💔 So I absolutely LOVED how this story wrapped up.  Poor Max had dealt with so much crap in his life that it was nice to see more and more people show him the love he always deserved.   His sisters both express their appreciation for all that he had done for them over the years.  And while I wouldn't call it closure, he does get some insight as to why his mother and father were the way they were.  Even on his death bed that father of his was a piece of work..... and somehow Max always showed him compassion.  This book also made me cry, though not as bad as the first book did.  And I definitely came to enjoy some of the side characters that already have books that I may be going back to read.

  Timeless by Kaylene Winter          4.75 🌟  4 🔥 Absolutely LOVE this series!! And I am not sure if I am ready for the Encore books yet..... but I will get into them soon! This is a childhood friends to lovers story that spans decades. Both Fiona and Zane have a lot of family issues to sort through on their own and they have always been a huge support for each other.... the one thing that was always solid. Until her mom took her away claiming that Zane was going to be just like his father. These 2 go through so much to be together that I was feeling gutted through out the entire book! And I was constantly getting mad at the different obstacles that kept blocking them from their happily ever after! And when they are together..... they are HOT 🔥🔥🔥. The only thing that I was unhappy about with this book was ..... DAMMIT! When can we find out if Carter and Lianne get back together FOR GOOD?!?!?
