Lily and Loren are both addicts. Lily is addicted to sex, Loren to alcohol. They depend on each other to enable their behaviors. For years they keep to themselves so that they hide these addictions from their family. They start to allow people into their lives, becoming friends with them. That’s when it all starts to come out. Lo doesn’t do too good of a job hiding his drinking from their new friends. Lo finds out some other things about his life that he had no clue about. The story ends on a cliffhanger with Lo leaving Lily behind to battle her own addiction while he goes off to rehab.
This is the first book in a multiple book series. It is a great introduction to the main characters that you will hear so much more about over the next many books. I fell in love with them all and love to read about them over and over again. I have now even listed to the audio, and it is fantastic!

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book!
