Review: The Reclaiming of Ivy Leavold
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This was great! I totally think that a whole lot of men need to read this book.
How do you, as a new mother, be the wife you once were in combination with the mother you now are? How do you find your own identity? Sometimes a woman needs to be reminded of who she was before she was somebodies mother.....
Julian decides to remind Ivy of who she is. She seemed to have forgotten that she was a very sexual being. Motherhood should not completely tame the wildcat that she always has been. You can be a mother and wildcat all at the same time. Julian reminded her in a very annoying way. But it drove the point home. And it was written in a way that I could literally feel her frustration. And my eyes began to tear up some of the time.
