Review: Unconventional

Unconventional Unconventional by Isabel Love
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was way more than I expected it to be. I kept seeing people talk about this book on Facebook and in reader groups going on and on and on about how hot it was. How sexy the characters are. These are true statements. There were also a whole lot of other feelings mixed in that caught be by surprise.

Neither Charlie not Quinn wanted any kind of serious relationship. Quinn had been married before and caught her husband with his secretary in their bed. Charlie had the love of his life completely betray his trust. So its no wonder either of them wanted more than just sex with random people. Then they hooked up. Just a couple times at first. Things got heavy when they were at a club with mutual friends. Both of them were working on hooking up with other people. Charlie ended up in a dark hallway with a lady he picked up at the bar. As he was in the hallway with her, playing with her, Quinn walked up... and witnessed the whole interaction. Charlie knew she was there watching and then played it up just for her. After messing with the girl from the bar for a bit, he ended up going home with Quinn.
They really were FRIENDS with benefits. They did each other favors. Were supportive of each other. Turns out they both shared some kinky fantasies that they decide to explore together. Their relationship develops and you also find out each of their back stories that brought them to the emotional state that they met each other in.

This is a great story about 2 people finding their way to each other and making their own rules on what their relationship will be. Not just following what society says it should be.
