Review: Mace

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Wow! This book has me so emotional!
Let me begin by saying I was so glad, from the very beginning, that Mace was the one who was getting a story with Hailey, and not Senn. There was just something about this pairing that had me unable to put the book down. There were some very serious issues that were brought into the mix. Hailey with her bulimia. Mace with his fear of abandonment. He fell for her the minute he saw her. Once he realized that she had a problem, he made it his problem. He felt like he ad to take care of her, like he could not do for his mother or sister. He is hot, he is young, and admits to having a lasting relationship with 4 women...at the same time. With all of her self esteem issues, she cant even begin to imagine that he would want to give that up JUST to be with her. Not to mention she is under the impression that being with her would ruin his chance at getting a multi-million dollar contract. So she keeps pushing him away. At some points it may seem like he is giving up, because who wants to keep hearing that they aren't good enough, but he keeps coming back to her. He keeps trying to convince her that she is worth giving it all up or. Since this book has a HEA ending , he FINALLY manages to convince her....but it was not easy! Their story pulled some very real tears out of me! (and still has my thoughts and feelings about this book in a huge jumbled mess) Its a great story about how you should never give up on the ones you love because sometimes they need you more than they are willing to admit. If I could give this book more than 5 starts I totally would. This is honestly one the absolute best books I have read in quite some time.
And now on to Senn!!!
