Review: Linc

Linc Linc by Lane Hart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was not a huge fan of Linc during his time in Jude, but toward the end he was starting to grow on me. Then in his own book he completed the process.

Claire does everything for her siblings. She has had to take care of them for years. Her sister became a drug addict and started doing porn movies, under the name of Eve Kelly, to pay for her addiction. But since they people didn't pay that well, but kept on feeding her drugs, Claire ended up being the one that was pulling a spot at a strip club, dancing for the men that were there to see her porn start sister. Linc was addicted to porn. Movies with one star in particular, Eve Kelly. He thought that if he met her in person then he would be able to get over his obsession with her. Too bad it only made it worse. But it also was not Eve Kelly that he met, but he thought it was.

This causes all sorts of craziness. He does eventually find out that it was really Claire. Then she worries that he is only with her as a fill-in for her sister. He had some drama with an ex-girlfriend coming back around. Then come the bad people again. This book had some great suspense filled pages to it. It was not a boy meets girl but no one admits their real feelings kind of book. I got very into this book and had a really hard time putting it down!!! And YES! it did make me cry some :) which, as I always say, will get 5 starts out of me because that means that the book got to me so much I felt an emotional connection to the characters.
