This part if the story didn't leave a lot of room for swooning.... but the story was strong!  And the ANGST!!!  Gah!  I thought I would find my heart on the outside of my shirt!  That is how badly parts of this book ripped my heart out!  I think that in the end Katniss absolutely made the right decision!   Peeta was the most deserving of her love!  Everything he went through he did it for her and not because he thought it would win favor!  He did it because he wanted her happiness more than he wanted his life!  And he fought so hard to come back to her through everything that he did.  She once asked him to stay with her, his reply was ALWAYS..... and he meant it! Gale always promised to take care of her family when she couldn't and keep them safe, in the end, not only did he NOT keep that promise, but his brain child had a hand in doing the exact opposite!   

As for the assassination, I think she 100% knew who the real enemies were and took measures to take out the one that would have lasted longer.  I honestly don't think that Pan Em would have been any better than it was before, just bad in a different way.  I love this whole series so much I am glad that I decided to listen to the audio.  Tatiana was phenomenal and totally pulled me into the story with every word she spoke!  And her emotion was superb!

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book!
