I do love me some cowboys!  EXPECIALLY when they call their lady Darlin' (fanning myself now).  And this book had them placed in the PERFECT spots!  (and I am not gonna lie.... Aaron Shedlock had my heart fluttering every time he said it!)  The story of Ever and Clint was so beautiful.  He started off so guarded that I honestly was not thinking he was going to make me swoon at all!   Clint and Ever that that chemistry that was sizzling from the beginning!  I loved that they had that sexual banter going on, even when they were "trying to not like the other person".  Definitely can not wait to get in some more time with the Ryker men!  Give me ALL the SWOON!  

Narration was on point!  I love the Duet narration.  I don't think I paused the book for any longer than 2 minutes (and that is because I was at work dealing with a few people)..... but other than that listened to it straight through in 1 shift!

The only thing that I was unhappy about with this book was ..... DAMMIT! When can we find out if Carter and Lianne get back together FOR GOOD?!?!?

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book! So if you are looking for spice, it isn't here!  But if you are looking for a heart felt, gut wrenching tale of love lost, then found again.... you are in the right place!  Mason was such a hot AF super alpha and was ready to take charge right away.  He knew he wanted it all and he wanted it with Payton!  Chase was sticking his meddling nose in where it didn't belong (AGAIN) and I was ready to figure out how to jump into the book just to punch him in the face!  But then look at him trying to redeem himself!  We shall see!  This story must have been a tough one for Meagan to tell.... they guilt and pain that Payton feels through out the whole book, over EVERYTHING and EVERYONE that she really has contact with.  But most of all the guilt about Deaton (the decease father of her son), Little D(eaton) and Mason.
