Review: Aria

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
✨Will probably be a TOP READ of 2022....have to read the conclusion to be sure!✨
Damn this story!!! I wasn't really sure how I was going to feel.... the story starts off with Chelsie leaving her abusive boyfriend. When she meets Devon Sawyer, the lead singer of Freeze Frame, she starts to date him. But then his bandmate Noah doesn't want her getting in the way of the band, so he sets out to disrupt their potential relationship before it really begins.... It back fires! Noah's son basically falls in love with Chelsie the first time he meets her.... and so begins the great friendship of Noah and Chelsie. There was not a whole lot of sexual tension because Chelsie didn't think much of herself, so she was having a hard enough time accepting that Devon wanted to be with her....I have my own theories on why he wanted to be with her but that is a whole other story. So here is the love triangle..... and I usually hate them because someone always gets hurt..... but this one I had no problem with. It didn't end on a HEA.... there was kind of a cliffy. Jennifer almost makes you think there will be a HEA, but then there is the twist!
I am quite glad that I do not have to wait for the next book! This was a super slow burn, and it made me cry..... hard! I thought I was going to make it through a Jennifer Hartmann book without crying..... NOPE! Got me towards the end. And I was loving every second of it!
