It isn't often that a novella has me on the verge of tears. But this one did. I liked that Eden was confident enough to go for what she wanted, even though she was feeling all kinds of rejection. She didn't give up with the first sign of rejection, she kept on going because she knew that in the end it would be worth the effort. I also loved that it was the female that did the grand gesture this time. Yu don't see that a whole lot. Brett was just as swoony as I had anticipated him to be. And my heart was breaking for them both! Loved this book. Its short and hot.... definitely worth the read!

And I was constantly getting mad at the different obstacles that kept blocking them from their happily ever after! And when they are together..... they are HOT 🔥🔥🔥. The only thing that I was unhappy about with this book was ..... DAMMIT! When can we find out if Carter and Lianne get back together FOR GOOD?!?!?

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...
