Review: Different as Night and Day

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Oh where do I even begin! This conclusion was everything that I thought it would be. I do have to agree that Holland was a little too back and forth. But then again, with everything that girl was hit with I suppose I can completely understand her constant second guessing herself. The basic gist of this story to me was that love is love is love is love. Why is it anyone else's business who we love? Does it affect them in any way? No? Then butt out! It is not ours to judge. As long as there is love and people are happy without anyone else getting hurt than I am all for it! While Holland's back and forth drove me insane, I am absolutely in AWE of steady Maguire was. Once he made that decision, he was totally committed to it and I think that was a huge help and major annoyance for Holland. Personally I think she was just using the "you're my dead husband's father" as a way to keep him at arm's length so that she wouldn't fall for someone else who would eventually leave her. And Maguire did one heck of a job breaking down all those walls.
Basically I feel like this is a great story that people should read. It has a HUGE lesson embedded in the words. LOVE IS LOVE! We can't always choose who we love. And we should always follow our hearts because we are the ones that have to live the rest of our lives with the decisions we make.
