Review: We Are Us

Image
We Are Us by Tara Leigh My rating: 5 of 5 stars Whew! This book took me on a ride. I will tell you there is love, hate, mystery, tragedy.... I felt it all. I died all the deads. Cried all the tears. Laughed all the laughs..... and still this book leaves me feeling. I have finished and I still have a lot of the details running through my head..... I figured out the answer to the mystery before the characters did.... but I still have so many questions. I can not even describe my feelings right now. All I know is that I LOVED this book. My heart is in so so so many places right now! People have said you should go in blind (which I do with most books) and I totally agree.... which is why I have not told too many details. But just know that you need to be ready to FEEL this story because I know I will be feeling it for a long time. Tara Leigh did a magnificent job telling this story.... and with all the difficult things that happen in this book I would h...

Review: Say Yes

Image
Say Yes by Lucia Franco My rating: 5 of 5 stars This "novella" (it was a lot more than any novella I have ever read....) was the perfect follow up to Hush Hush. James and Aubrey are still one of the hottest couples that I have read about. And the feelings that this book brought up were crazy real for me. There were some things that happened that made my heart break a little. Anyone who read Hush Hush needs to read this immediately! THIS is their "happily ever after". And then you learn some stuff about Natalie that makes you want to know exactly when we will be getting her book!!! View all my reviews

Review: Rebel Priest

Image
Rebel Priest by Adriane Leigh My rating: 4 of 5 stars First time reading anything by this author. It was pretty good. I always think the concept of a woman falling in love with a priest is fascinating. I did feel like this book moved a bit slow in the beginning and to be totally honest I really felt like Tressa wast beating herself up a whole lot more than she really needed to. But then again that way of thinking may have come from her mother so I suppose it is mildly understandable. So if you like the forbidden love idea of a woman and priest you should check this one out! Review: Revenge

Image
Revenge by Laurelin Paige My rating: 5 of 5 stars This story just keeps getting better and better! All the time! Celia is still not my favorite person but I have been warming up to her.... Maybe it is because I am so in love with Hudson, and I feel she did him and Alayna SO wrong, I have to say that I am glad to see that she does still have some instinct to attempt to protect him in some way from the man that she is married to. In this part of the story we learn a lot more about Marion, Edwards first wife. That was quite the interesting tale on its own. And I am not going to lie, knowing what I do know about the timeline since I have read Chandler and Fixed Forever, this book ended on the cliffhanger I was expecting. But that does not make it any less of a cliffhanger! I know what comes of it in the end, but the journey of how they get there form where it has ended now is very intriguing to me and I can not wait to get my hands of the conclusion of t...

Review: Rough Love

Image
Rough Love by Lauren Landish My rating: 5 of 5 stars I am so freaking in love with Bruce! Right from the beginning the man that they refer to as "Brutal", a nickname from his high school football days, shows you the kind of heart that he has by stopping at a park when he sees a smaller kid getting picked on! Later on, when he gets to his love interest who also happens to be his high school sweetheart who ripped his heart to shreds, he tries to be a jerk to her, but he just can't seem to make that last. The problem with Allyson is that she thought he ripped her heart to shreds (you have to love this young love misunderstandings) and when she moves on, it was not in the greatest of directions. So now Bruce has his work cut out for him trying to make her see that they belong together and that he loves her son and wants to make them a family. Now the thing about this book is that if you read the books about the Bennett brothers, you go into...

Review: Wrecked

Image
Wrecked by A.J. Snyder My rating: 4 of 5 stars Holy crazy balls of hotness! If I ever get stuck on a desert island I totally hope there are 3 HAF men to take care of me! Damn this was some hotness! The only thing that kept this from being 5 star was mostly that I didn't feel a whole lot of emotion out of any of them. Like the loneliness they all felt once they were separated. It was stated but I didn't really feel it. I also think it would have been a whole lot hotter if the voyeuristic aspect was played up a bit more. (but I am a bit of a freak like that) View all my reviews

Review: Lost Girl

Image
Lost Girl by Dee Garcia My rating: 4 of 5 stars Oh this world! I am loving it. The only reason why this book did not get 5 stars is because I felt like there was something missing (don't ask me what because I have no idea) and I felt that the beginning was dragging on a bit. But the story of Wendy and Tavi was so good. And I just loved how he called her "little wolf" from the very beginning. I did like that we also got to see quite a bit of Hook and Tinksley. And then the ending that lead into yet another story for a couple of people in Rosewood. And I can not WAIT to see where that one goes.... it had my mind already reeling! View all my reviews

Review: Breathless

Image
Breathless by Lex Martin My rating: 5 of 5 stars This! Freaking! Book!!! I had been waiting for this one! Childhood friends to lovers and Sibling's best friend are my top 2 troupes to read! And this one is BOTH!!! Logan was not just Joey's brother best friend growing up.... but THEY were actually friends also! And this part of their story begins with Joey having left her best friend/love interest behind.... and when she comes back for the wedding, right away he realized just how much he missed her....and that he was having feelings that he didn't think that he should be having. And he wasn't even sure if they were his ACTUAL feelings or just was being overly dramatic about missing her. There are some interesting revelations later in the book that explains a whole lot about why their relationship went the path that it did. And there are some really HOT scenes.... there is one that is my personal favorite that is SO hot that I think I w...

Review: Fake It 'Til You Break It

Image
Fake It 'Til You Break It by Meagan Brandy My rating: 5 of 5 stars Another piece of Meagan Brandy awesomeness! This woman writes some stories that go straight to my teenage heart! 17 year old Kelly was just ready to cry and then squeal with happiness! I love a good fake relationship story, because it always has a good bit of angst in the mix. The best part is when one of the people's feelings become real.... and they think that the other person doesn't feel the same way and THAT'S when the heartbreak starts! I loved everything about this story, Demi and Nico are so great together! And they are that couple of people that everyone could see would be great together, but they don't see it. So of coarse no one was surprised by their relationship. And the things that they did in this book (like the events and outings and such) were exactly how I wish my senior year would have been! I can not wait to get into this all over again so I can...

Review: Love Bank

Image
Love Bank by Marika Ray My rating: 4 of 5 stars A cute and funny small town story about a woman who owns a sperm back and the warden of the new prison.... right next to her clinic. What could possibly go wrong with that? Um just about everything! The possibilities of this are endless! Good book to pick up for some light reading that will make you giggle. View all my reviews
