OH. MY. FREAKING. HEART! (Please hold while I piece it back together... this could take a few minutes!!!)

I love this series! Pretty Reckless ended with a HEA.... the problem is that addicts dont actually get a HEA. Their happiness is a constant work in progress! So it only seemed fitting that Kat and Chase have a relationship and wedding surrounded in dysfunction. Ever since I head that Jane was writing this book I was waiting so impatiently for their story to continue! While reading Pretty Ugly I dont think I would get through more than 3 chapters without crying. Many times words that were spoken were like a slap to the face, and I felt that! I was so completely into this book.... it took me 1 day to read it.... I dove right back in during every break at work. My co-workers looked at me like I was crazy because I would randomly gasp, and then sniffle. All the feels! This story is heart crushing, spirit building, eye make-up ruining greatness! The characters are so flawed, but in a way that makes you constantly rotting for them and cheering them on. You WANT them to work it all out! It was just fantastic!

  Ebbing Tides (book 2 in the Lighthouse Duology) by Kelsey Kingsley Story: 5 🌟  Swoon: 4 😍  Spice: 3🔥 Angst: 4 💔 So I absolutely LOVED how this story wrapped up.  Poor Max had dealt with so much crap in his life that it was nice to see more and more people show him the love he always deserved.   His sisters both express their appreciation for all that he had done for them over the years.  And while I wouldn't call it closure, he does get some insight as to why his mother and father were the way they were.  Even on his death bed that father of his was a piece of work..... and somehow Max always showed him compassion.  This book also made me cry, though not as bad as the first book did.  And I definitely came to enjoy some of the side characters that already have books that I may be going back to read.

  Timeless by Kaylene Winter          4.75 🌟  4 🔥 Absolutely LOVE this series!! And I am not sure if I am ready for the Encore books yet..... but I will get into them soon! This is a childhood friends to lovers story that spans decades. Both Fiona and Zane have a lot of family issues to sort through on their own and they have always been a huge support for each other.... the one thing that was always solid. Until her mom took her away claiming that Zane was going to be just like his father. These 2 go through so much to be together that I was feeling gutted through out the entire book! And I was constantly getting mad at the different obstacles that kept blocking them from their happily ever after! And when they are together..... they are HOT 🔥🔥🔥. The only thing that I was unhappy about with this book was ..... DAMMIT! When can we find out if Carter and Lianne get back together FOR GOOD?!?!?
