Wow! New-to-me author. Went in to the book blind. I didn't read the blurb or anything. I was blown away! 🤯 A great story of a girl falling in love for the first time. It really brought me back to when I was 14 and I was "falling in love". But Jade and Sebastian were not meant to be. There was the age difference, which wouldn't be that big of a deal is she had been older than 14. There were many secrets. Through the whole book I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. Either when she was with Sebastian, and then Dylan. I was always waiting for something bad to happen. Let's be honest, Jade wasn't the strongest of heroines that I have read about, but in all seriousness she was really the easiest to relate to. She had the same insecurities that we all have. She kept thinking that something bad was going to happen in the relationship she was in, so I felt like something bad was going to happen. I was on pins and needles! My heart was stuck in my throat and I had bats flying around in my stomach! I very seriously enjoyed this book. I will absolutely be reading more from Dominique Laura! 💖💖💖

The only thing that I was unhappy about with this book was ..... DAMMIT! When can we find out if Carter and Lianne get back together FOR GOOD?!?!?

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

So if you are looking for spice, it isn't here!  But if you are looking for a heart felt, gut wrenching tale of love lost, then found again.... you are in the right place!  Mason was such a hot AF super alpha and was ready to take charge right away.  He knew he wanted it all and he wanted it with Payton!  Chase was sticking his meddling nose in where it didn't belong (AGAIN) and I was ready to figure out how to jump into the book just to punch him in the face!  But then look at him trying to redeem himself!  We shall see!  This story must have been a tough one for Meagan to tell.... they guilt and pain that Payton feels through out the whole book, over EVERYTHING and EVERYONE that she really has contact with.  But most of all the guilt about Deaton (the decease father of her son), Little D(eaton) and Mason.
