Zandy is a 22 year old virgin.  She goes to England to work with a professor friend of her fathers to get some experience during the summer before heading to librarian school.  But she is determined to lose the v card first... so she spends a night in London and plans to go to a pub and take a man back to her hotel room.  She ran into a man on the street and chose him instead.  Oliver didn't know she was a virgin until AFTER the deed...... she left him in the morning... only to be confronted by him at the professors house a few days later..... HE IS THE PROFESSOR!!!  The back and forth with these 2 was pretty frustrating.... but there was no lack of steamy desk scenes!  Very happy that I chose this book as the first one I listened too since the beginning of November..... it wasn't too angsty and it was on the shorter side.  The narration was tolerable.  Some spots it felt a little slow, but not to the point where I sped it up..... and I did hear a great deal of emotion from them!

And I was constantly getting mad at the different obstacles that kept blocking them from their happily ever after! And when they are together..... they are HOT 🔥🔥🔥. The only thing that I was unhappy about with this book was ..... DAMMIT! When can we find out if Carter and Lianne get back together FOR GOOD?!?!?

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book! So if you are looking for spice, it isn't here!  But if you are looking for a heart felt, gut wrenching tale of love lost, then found again.... you are in the right place!  Mason was such a hot AF super alpha and was ready to take charge right away.  He knew he wanted it all and he wanted it with Payton!  Chase was sticking his meddling nose in where it didn't belong (AGAIN) and I was ready to figure out how to jump into the book just to punch him in the face!  But then look at him trying to redeem himself!  We shall see!  This story must have been a tough one for Meagan to tell.... they guilt and pain that Payton feels through out the whole book, over EVERYTHING and EVERYONE that she really has contact with.  But most of all the guilt about Deaton (the decease father of her son), Little D(eaton) and Mason.
