This small town romance had me swooning!  Nora had a very protective and controlling dad.... and Colson works for him.  So Nora is off limits.  And also his neighbor.  But her dad wants Colson to be there for her and help her out when she needs it, and he thinks she is helpless so she should need it a lot.... but expects him to NOT fall for her.  TOO LATE!  Their story is a fun but emotion read.  Colson has some unresolved issues with his mother and father.  I wont get into the details, you will need to read it yourself to find out... but I will say that it totally tugged my heat strings!

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book!
