Davis has got some spunk I tell you what!  Crew was her brother's best friend and became a foster brother to her also.  But she has been in love with him since she was a teenager.  He was her first kiss.  So when she wanted to get rid of her virginity, he was who she thought of.  She hadn't really spoken to him in a few years, but she still felt like it had to be him.  He turns her down, but then says that he will help her find some one else to.  So that means he has to spend time with her.... and that is almost a win in her book.  
Crew is quite resistant to be with Davis..... but he doesn't want anyone else to either.  Memphis, Davis' brother, has caused a lot of trouble over the years, all while basically making Crew think that he wasn't good enough for Davis.... So that was an issue also..... talk about hypocrite! 
Anyway the back and forth that these 2 play in the process of getting together was so much fun tow watch.  This was totally a page turner for me, because there was that thing about Memphis dangling the whole time, like what the heck happened to him???  Where is he?  
The relationship that Davis formed with others in Crew's circle of friends was also very heart warming.  It was great to see her coming out of her shell.  The vulnerability and insecurities that both Crew and Davis had shown, were breaking my heart.  There was some stuff that happened that made me mad, laugh... and in true Megan Brandy fashion.... made me cry a bit!  

Meagan has given us another great story with a super swoony hero.... and a nerdy girl!  So much fun to read and I absolutely LOVED their story.  As well as the banter and friendships that were happening all around.  This was a great group of friends!

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book! So if you are looking for spice, it isn't here!  But if you are looking for a heart felt, gut wrenching tale of love lost, then found again.... you are in the right place!  Mason was such a hot AF super alpha and was ready to take charge right away.  He knew he wanted it all and he wanted it with Payton!  Chase was sticking his meddling nose in where it didn't belong (AGAIN) and I was ready to figure out how to jump into the book just to punch him in the face!  But then look at him trying to redeem himself!  We shall see!  This story must have been a tough one for Meagan to tell.... they guilt and pain that Payton feels through out the whole book, over EVERYTHING and EVERYONE that she really has contact with.  But most of all the guilt about Deaton (the decease father of her son), Little D(eaton) and Mason.
