No Feelings Involved by Siobhan Davis My rating: 4 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 Narrated by:  Lia Holland & Dash Coleman Loved the story!!!  Not that impressed with the narration.  I am a fool for a good brother's best friend romance.  This story had all the things I love about them!  I was really excited to finally get a story about Ryan!  And to find out what the heck happened with him and Mindy (his sister's friend that he had been dating for a while).  The sexual tension between Summer and Ryan is fantastic!  Their banter is hilarious.  I really love Summer's confidence!  There were a few things that happened that really should have brought a tear to my eye, but I wasn't feeling any kind of emotion from the narrators, so it didn't hit me the same.  And the revelations didn't hit the same either.  I think that some day I will have to read the book myself and it will probably pull...

Dauntless by Victoria Denault My rating: 4 of 5 stars Wow!  I was enthralled with these 2 men from jump!  Both Chase and Bowen captured my heart with their individual stories, but them together had me feeling all the things!  This had "gay for you" vibes, but it was really more like he was gay before, just not out yet and all it took was meeting the right guy to make you want it all.  The conflict/fight felt like a total gut punch to me... from both sides!  It wasn't even just one party that made me mad about it!  That was awesome!  Great read.  Totally love the other characters too, who I assume have their own books in the series.  The whole place seems like 1 big happy family..... kind of like the "gay bar" version of Cheers!   Story          🌟🌟🌟🌟 Spice          🔥🔥🔥 Swoon        😍😍😍😍 Angst     ...

The Bayou Never Tells by Chelley St Clair My rating: 5 of 5 stars ✨A TOP READ OF 2022✨ This book "had me at hello".  Right from the beginning this book was an total page turner!  I didn't want to put it down (#adultiingsucks) This book starts out as an unrequited love that Ivy has towards her best friend (who is totally clueless about her feelings).  Then it changes into an enemies-to-lovers super slow burn with extra sexual tension on the side!  WHEW! 🥵🥵🥵 Silas is EVERYTHING!  Since this book is a dual POV you actually get the chance to LOVE Silas.  I honestly feel like if you got it all from Ivy's POV, Silas would be damn near unredeemable.  When Ivy was dealing with her broken heart feelings, he was kind of a jerk about it... and while I totally understood why he wanted things to happen the way that they did, I felt like he was rather heartless to Ivy about the way that she was feeling!  Ivy is my girl 100%....

The Deal Dilemma by Meagan Brandy My rating: 5 of 5 stars Davis has got some spunk I tell you what!  Crew was her brother's best friend and became a foster brother to her also.  But she has been in love with him since she was a teenager.  He was her first kiss.  So when she wanted to get rid of her virginity, he was who she thought of.  She hadn't really spoken to him in a few years, but she still felt like it had to be him.  He turns her down, but then says that he will help her find some one else to.  So that means he has to spend time with her.... and that is almost a win in her book.   Crew is quite resistant to be with Davis..... but he doesn't want anyone else to either.  Memphis, Davis' brother, has caused a lot of trouble over the years, all while basically making Crew think that he wasn't good enough for Davis.... A Merry Little Meet Cute by Julie Murphy My rating: 4 of 5 stars Definitely a fun read. The idea of a porn star in hiding and a former boy band member making a "wholesome Christmas movie" together..... just that premise alone had me more than ready to read it. Bee and Nolan had me captivated... it did take a bit for me to get into it, but once I was, I could not put it down. And the side characters were also quite amusing! Kade by Jane Anthony My rating: 5 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 Narrated by:  Lee Daniels & Gregory Salinas YES! YES! Adam has invented an App and made millions, and Liv has gone to college and come back home (sort of) to work at the planetarium.  Well Adam is ready to come back and take care of some unfinished business on "the island" so he buys that planetarium and a house on the island..... Now Liv is working for Adam.  And there is most definitely things that need to be worked out. In The Aftermath by Meadow Jones My rating: 4 of 5 stars The story of Tristan and Cade begins as a friendship that grows a crazy strong bond when they save their friends from Axton's crazy AF parents.  Things get more intimate when they go to Cade's family home so he can be there for and then mourn the death of a woman who was like a mother to him. T he Bully by Sophie Lark My rating: 4 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVEIW🎧 Narrated by:  Lilly Drake, Gregory Salinas & Antonio Turner  Wow!  So this was the first book in this series that I listened to... Out of Bounds by Lucia Franco My rating: 4 of 5 stars Ok so seeing as how this was a companion novel and not to be read without having read the Off Balance series, I have to go about this a bit differently.  To be totally honest I was not a huge fan of the deleted scenes, BUT I think that may have been due to the fact that I haven't read the books in a while, so if I were to go back and re-read the series and then go read the deleted scenes I would most likely appreciate them A LOT more!  I absolutely loved the Valentine's note from Kova.   I think if it were up to me I would like to have seen a note of what he may have given her on their wedding day.  Or to see some journal entries from any of her pregnancies.   More than anything I FLOVED the interview with Kova!  OMG that man would be so infuriating to interview, but in all honesty it seems like most coaches are.... getting answers is like pulling teet...

Force of Nature by Skye Warren My rating: 4 of 5 stars Those cliffhangers get me every time!  I am rather enjoying the premise of the story.  But honestly some of it got lost in a couple of chapters that were devoted to a fever induced "dream".  It really was confusing to me.... but in all honesty that could just be me and how I read because I have mild ADD.  And the term "slow burn" is very accurate.  Because of how things went for June and Carter on this deserted island, there really wasn't even much opportunity for them to have sexual tension between them..... but then when the spice came...... IT CAME!!!! (pun sort of intended) There was a part that surprised the heck out of me and I will just keep that to myself and let you see what happens!  I am definitely looking forward to the next book, I have a feeling I will enjoy it much more, I feel like this one was kind of the build up to when the real fun/action be...
