Well this was a surprise!  When people say "check trigger warnings" they are NOT kidding with this one!  After that first couple of chapters I was super intrigued and I needed to know what the heck was going on... where was this going to go?  But I sure didn't think that I would ACTUALLY be rooting for Killian.... or that I would squeal with joy when Glyndon was getting jealous!  There was one scene where Killian said THE SWOONIEST THING!  Which some might not think was that sweet... but given the fact that he really doesn't understand "feelings" it had my falling over with my hand to my chest!  LOVED IT!  

I wouldn't recommend this book to EVERYONE because I know there are A LOT of people that would not be able to get past the beginning.  But if you can get past that, and if you can keep an open mind, this is one FANTASTIC STORY!  And with the other characters that were introduced, I am looking forward to the other books in the series.

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book! So if you are looking for spice, it isn't here!  But if you are looking for a heart felt, gut wrenching tale of love lost, then found again.... you are in the right place!  Mason was such a hot AF super alpha and was ready to take charge right away.  He knew he wanted it all and he wanted it with Payton!  Chase was sticking his meddling nose in where it didn't belong (AGAIN) and I was ready to figure out how to jump into the book just to punch him in the face!  But then look at him trying to redeem himself!  We shall see!  This story must have been a tough one for Meagan to tell.... they guilt and pain that Payton feels through out the whole book, over EVERYTHING and EVERYONE that she really has contact with.  But most of all the guilt about Deaton (the decease father of her son), Little D(eaton) and Mason.
