Review: Pucked Up and Married

Image
Pucked Up and Married by Jessa York My rating: 5 of 5 stars I was so freaking excited for the conclusion of Trey and Lexi's story!  Jessa did not disappoint me at all!  It gave me all the feels.  Lexi was really pissing me off at a couple points because I totally felt like she was toying with Trey's feelings and it was making me so angry!  And the way that no matter how much she was pushing him away, and stuck around to be supportive even when she was still planning to divorce him!  SWOON!!!  I love Trey so much!  This book even pulled a few tears out of me!  LOVED IT!!!   And the little peek into what Jillian's story will be about!  YES!!!!  I AM HERE FOR IT!!!!  I am honestly super intrigued to find out why she chose Stuart!   One-click here ~~~>   https://amzn.to/3blaLex Story          🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Spice        ...

Review: First Comes Love

Image
First Comes Love by Nicole French My rating: 5 of 5 stars This first book in the Silver Spoon trilogy is what I have been waiting for!!!  I have been dying to get Frankie's story!  We first met her in the Rose Gold trilogy.  She is Matthew Zola's sister who is a single mother and lives with him.  She got pregnant by a man that was in town for a while.  She figures out that she is pregnant on the night that she is supposed to see him for the last time because he is getting ready to fly back to England.  But she never sees him again because he sends her an email telling her that he has to break things off because he has to go be home with his sick fiancé.... effectively ending any ideas that she may have had of letting him know that she as expecting.   5 years later he has come back!  And he is just as attractive as she remembers....and he is still quite taken with her as well.  But you know he h...

Audio Review: The Wrong Heart

Image
The Wrong Heart by Jennifer Hartmann My rating: 5 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVEIW🎧 Narrated by: Stefanie Kay & Neill Thorne This book deals with some really tough issues!  Death of a spouse.  Attempted suicide.  Child abuse.   It is not for the faint of heart.  But the story is SO good!  Melody gets married to her high school sweetheart, and he dies on their 5th wedding anniversary.  This was obviously a tough thing for her to deal with.  She ends up in a suicide prevention group.  This is where she meets Parker.  He is her opposite in EVERY way!  And is nothing like her late husband.  But that is probably what attracts her to him.  They end up going through a lot, even though Parker has this cant stay away/cant stand to be around her attitude.  Parker is a tough one to deal with because you know what he has been through, but still get so hurt by some of the things that h...

Scorched by S.E. Rose My rating: 4 of 5 stars Who doesn't swoon over a sweet AF firefighter?  Liam is just so freaking awesome!  Sweetest book boyfriend.  And he is exactly what Trinity needed in her life!  Her brother Tucker gets all big brother-y and tells Liam to stay away from her.... but then tells him that he wants Liam to look out for Trinity and Hailey ..... and honestly expects his friend to NOT fall in love???  SMH.  Anyway other than that there was some baby daddy drama and it made for a really interesting story!  I have loved this series!   One-click here~~~~>   https://amzn.to/3bkuAD2 Story          🌟🌟🌟🌟 Spice          🔥🔥🔥 Swoon        😍😍😍😍😍 Angst         💔💔💔 View all my reviews

Review: Power Play

Image
Power Play by Amelia Wilde My rating: 5 of 5 stars I was loving this book.... and I was loving Gabriel ...right up until that cliffhanger!  Ok so Elise is best friends with Charlotte.... and that is how she get to know Gabriel.  Well he thinks that he needs to pick up the revenge plot for his parents death, right where Mason left off.  And he goes after Elise because her dad was the one in change of it all.  He starts off just wanting to get info and a way in by using Elise... but along the way he starts to FEEL something for her.  What that is, we don't yet know..... But this is a great story line... I was enjoying it with Mason and Charlotte.... and I am still enjoying it with Gabe and Elise.  I can not wait for the next book!!  Story         🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Spice         🔥🔥🔥 Swoon       😍😍 Angst        💔💔💔💔 One-cli...

Audio Review: Saving Him

Image
Saving Him by Angela Snyder My rating: 5 of 5 stars I was waiting for this one! After the serious cliffhanger at the end of Keeping Her, I was most anxious to find out what would happen to Adeline! After her failed escape attempt and Lucien saved her, they became a lot closer. He was letting her sleep in his bed! He became more and more jealous of Jax. He didn’t want to put a label on the feelings he was having for her because his life had shown him that words can be empty. Her family, and jerk wad fiancé, end up finding her and taking her away…. And that it where the real craziness begins. Throughout this book I was on edge. I picked it up in the morning and finished it before I went to bed. The odd way that Adeline and Lucien get together only adds to the suspense on if they will be able to make it work. For a couple of chapters I was seriously mad! I really did not like what was happening. In the end it all worked out. (I still kind of want to punch Gio ...

Review: In the Darkness

Image
In the Darkness by Meadow Jones My rating: 5 of 5 stars These 2 men were just beautiful together!  I can not with them!  They have this whole "lovers in the dark" thing going that just had me totally captivated!  I really loved that they don't just reunite and then jump right into bed together! I really love the progression they had.  Axton's mom is just straight psycho!  That woman really doesn't know a good thing when she has them.  I really loved how persistent Ford was in establishing a relationship with Axton so many years later.  What it turned into was quite a bit more than they planned on, but it was as beautiful  as anything else they could have been.  I really felt that the stepfather factor was handled in a way that made it feel not quite as taboo for me.  We met some other interesting characters along the way and I am quite excited to hear more about them in the coming books!  D...

Audio Review: Archer's Voice

Image
Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan My rating: 5 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 Narrated by Emily Durante & Kris Koscheski I know, I know... I am late to the game on this one.  I listened to it for a book club.  I am not disappointed.  A lot of people said that it broke them.... and I can honestly say that I did not cry much.  Which is crazy to me.... but I was getting super pissed off.  Both Archer and Bree have some messed up pasts they are bringing with them.  Somehow they both find a way to help the other get better.  From the very beginning I did not like Victoria Hale.... I knew with 100% certainty that she was NO GOOD!  And I wasn't getting a very good feeling about Travis either.  The story played out pretty much how I thought.... with the exception of a few things that absolutely had me losing my shit!  I almost bitched out the person that picked this book because she knows how I feel about...

Review: Hey, Mister Marshall

Image
Hey, Mister Marshall by Saffron A. Kent My rating: 5 of 5 stars I don't even know that I can say about Saffron's books that I have not already gone on and on about.  This one is just as fantastic as they all have been for me.  Super slow burn.  Alaric is a majorly broody alpha H.  And Poe is so freaking feisty she isn't about to take his crap... she is making plans to do what she wants regardless of what her guardian says, she is 18 she can so that she wants...... but he still controls her money. (her mom died when she was 14) But once she realizes that he has done all of these "horrible things" in order to keep her safe and ensure her a good future.... that was when she feel for him!  She hasn't had much love and sure didn't think of what he was doing was his way of looking out for her.  As always the steam was totally worth the wait.  The angst, while mild, still managed to pull a couple tears out of my eyes!  Love t...

Audio Review: Mafia King

Image
Mafia King by Vi Carter My rating: 4 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVEIW🎧 Narrated by Allyson Voller & Curt Bonnem I was not as big a fan of this story as I was Mafia Prince.  For some reason this one just seemed to be a bit slower and sometimes I felt a little scattered.  I did really like Emma.  I thought she was quite feisty and was glad to get the vibe that she has her own mind.  She was raised to expect an arranged marriage and was more than willing to go into it.  She just wasn't that sure about the man that she was now promised too.  And she didn't make it easy on him at all.  Shay was doing everything he could to keep her at arms length, except with he was getting frisky with her.  They did manage to pull some tears to the surface of my eyes at one point, which is saying a lot since I wasn't feeling very attached to Shay and Emma.  But it was a pretty good story.   Story        ...

Review: Up All Night with a Good Duke

Image
Up All Night with a Good Duke by Amy Rose Bennett My rating: 4 of 5 stars I have recently become a fan of Amy Rose Bennett's books, and this one did not disappoint!  I really enjoyed the bater between Dominic and Artemis!  They were very amusing and quite hot from the beginning.  I was quite unhappy with Artemis' family, her aunt and sister really didn't give her a whole lot of credit for much.  Celeste was a really joy for me to read about.  She absolutely embodied what I think a young lady in her situation would be.  Moody, a bit sassy and quite rebellious.  Don't even get me started on the governess.   I thought that Dominic was quite swoony.  He was in love with his first wife, and has dealt with the loss of her quite hard.  But being blamed for her death by her family didn't help a whole lot.  So when he started to show that he was having feelings for Artemis.... I was overjoyed!...

Audio Review: The Billionaire's Forbidden Little Sister

Image
The Billionaire's Forbidden Little Sister by Max Monroe My rating: 4 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 Narrated by:  Stephanie Rose & Tim Paige This was the first Max Monroe book I have read/listened to.  While I enjoyed the book well enough, it wasn't as funny as I have heard people say about their writing.  I am always a big fan of the "brother's best friend" stories.  (maybe it is because my brother is 11 years younger than me and I never would have had the chance to lust after his friends 🤣) and this one was no different.  Cap (Lena's brother) played that over protective brother perfectly!  I do have to say though that of all his friends you would think that he would rather Lena get with Theo over any of the others (not that there are many left at this point).  He is very career driven, and would understand that she is too.... and he wasn't a huge man-whore.   The narration was ok.  I had iss...

Review: The Ruthless Groom

Image
The Ruthless Groom by Monica Murphy My rating: 5 of 5 stars Holy goodness this was a hot one!  Being married really made there 2 get it on A LOT!  Despite being pissed off at each other nonstop and neither one trusting the other, they had NO issues in the "bedroom".  Charlotte's ex has come back into the picture and is making life difficult for the newlyweds.  Every time it seems like Perry & Charlotte are getting closer, Seamus finds a way to put a wall between them.  And the cliffy on this one has me super worried!!!  I need that 3rd book now!!!   Story         🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Spice         🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Swoon       😍😍😍😍😍 Angst        💔💔💔💔 View all my reviews

Audio Review: Wicked Lies Boys Tell

Image
Wicked Lies Boys Tell by K. Webster My rating: 5 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧  ✨A TOP LISTEN OF 2022✨ Narrated by Teddy Hamilton & Jacob Morgan YES!!!  This was a fantastic "coming of age" type story!  Penn and Copland used to be best friends, until Penn realizes he is gay and in love with his best friend.....and tries to kiss him.  That began 2 years of fighting.  There was so much to this book that I took 2 1/2 pages of notes!  So many noteworthy things!  Both these guys have fathers that are complete jerks!  I love the way that once Penn and Cope are friends again, they are basically inseparable as they were growing up.  Cope is definitely the jerk of the story, but he more than redeems himself by the end.  I love them so so so much!  And the narration was ON POINT..... basically perfection!   Story         🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Spice          🔥🔥🔥...

Review: Force

Image
Force by Cassandra Robbins My rating: 5 of 5 stars ✨A TOP READ OF 2022✨ RYDER IS MY MOST FAVORITE BIKER EVER!!!! And he is absolutely my favorite Disciple!  Julianna is just freaking perfect for him!  They really are soulmates!  I felt it in my bones!  Hearing Ryder talk about his clairvoyant dreams was super interesting.   You know right off the bat that this is going to be a super hot book!  Julianna stumbles upon some people getting frisky in some bushes..... and SHE STAYED TO WATCH!!!!!  These 2 are just super hot AF 🔥💦🔥💦.  And for really real..... who the heck knew that Cindy was going to be so freaking psycho?  It was kind of annoying me that the only one that seemed to be on Julianna's side (vs Cindy) was my girl Dolly!  She knew what was up.  But then again, soulmates can spot other soulmates.  Ryder has that super possessive alpha male going on.   What I fou...

Audio Review: The Wallflower Wager

Image
The Wallflower Wager by Tessa Dare My rating: 4 of 5 stars 🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 Narrated by  MaryJane Wells I rather enjoyed this story.  Penelope was a "spinster" that had a thing for taking in animals that need care or have just been abandoned.  Gabriel buys the property next door and says that in order to make money off the property she will need to get rid of the animals, which goes along with what her aunt also said.  So he decides to help her find homes for all the animals (and there are a lot and some uncommon ones).... but of coarse in the process he gets to know her and he was already attracted to her.  I thought it was a good story.  One of the conflicts comes when he does what he always does.... fighting dirty is all he knows based on how he grew up.  So I was a bit annoyed with her for not understanding where he was coming from, thankfully she came back around pretty quickly.  Definitely an entert...
