Review: Tennessee Truths

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book constantly had me on pins and needles! Spitting up with an abusive man is always a scary thing. Throw in the heartbreak of the first person you ever loved and promised forever to.... my heart was pounding. Jace really never had the confidence that he tried to pretend he had. He was so hug up in his insecurities that he was believing someone that he KNEW to be an abuser, abusers lie and manipulate everyone and everything around them to get what they want. There was a LOT of back and forth in this book. But I am not kidding when I say that I loved every single heart pounding moment, and all the other moments too. Ashley did a great job of character growth in Faith. We saw Faith is so many different stages of her life. Having gone through all that she did, the bravery she showed every time she moved right a long. Yes she had her break downs.... but she picked herself right back up and kept on pushing. I do still feel like Jace had a lot of growing to do and hopefully he will be able to learn from Faith and get his own stuff dealt with. He did begin to show that some toward the end, but really had a lot farther to go )in my opinion). Great story. Loved them so much. And I really liked Jessie and Gemma! What great friends to have around!
