This was my first time reading anything by this author. I really enjoyed Maddie and Ian. I thought that their relationship stating as a one night stand and moving into more AFTER he becomes her boss was an interesting idea. The battles that they faced were pretty typical things, nothing super overly dramatic. I did feel like there were some things that that were brought up and that were brought up and the story with it never fully developed. There were also some parts that had you asking questions (which was a good thing), but when the answers came it felt really unnatural.

Over all I really did enjoy the book. I will absolutely read this author again.

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book!
