Review: Break Me

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Do you ever read a book and have no idea what to put in a review for it? Because that is where I am at with this one! But here I go..... hopefully it doesn't end up being TOO much of a hot mess!
Royce has got to be the swooniest of all the Brayshaw brothers! But he really goes from hot to cold on the drop of a dime..... Bipolar has nothing on him (I will NEVER look at a pizza pocket the same way again)! And Brielle is literally his perfect match! With everything she has seen and lived through, she is so sweet and innocent-like but without actually BEING innocent. She KNOWS how important family is because all she really had growing up was her brother, who then basically ditched her and as of recently seemed like it was without eve a thought of how she was. This was also key in her being Royce's perfect match because she would know how important HIS family is to him.
Knowing this was the final of the Brayshaw brothers' books it was really difficult to read..... not because there was anything wrong with it....it was fantastic....but because once I got to the end, it would all be over! No more Raven and Big Man..... No more Rora and Cap..... No more Royce and Brielle.... and that was such a sad thought to me. But Meagan really did the whole family justice with this story. While Royce and Brielle were the center of attention with this book.... you still got A LOT of the other 4. And seeing how far Raven has come since the very first book was just astonishing! Seeing more from Zoey and how she interacts with the family was such a joy to watch.
It's so hard to say goodbye to such a wonderful family after being with them for almost 2 years. They are absolutely the embodiment of their family moto. Blood most definitely runs deeper than water, and they show everyone that with everything they do. My hope is that we can get a Brayshaw Christmas reunion next year so we can see what all the little Brayshaws are doing to keep the parents on their toes!
This book would be worth a whole lot more than 5 stars, but that is all I am allowed to give. While I am so sad to see the end, I am over the moon about them all getting their HEA.
