I was so excited to get this book.  Alexis is a new to me author and I thought that the blurb sounded so intriguing!  I was not disappointed.  Wren works for Theo and had just come out of a relationship.  Theo is all super protective and wants to look out for her when the ex starts acting a little psycho!  They were both already hot for each other so you can imagine what happens.  It wasn't quite as suspenseful as I had thought it would be.  But it was so hot!  A bit of a slow burn, but boy did they make up for lost time!  Definitely a book I would recommend and I will totally be looking into this author's back log!  I think I need some more of her stories in my life!

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...
