Wow! I was not at all ready for this intensity! I will start by saying that I had no clue what I was walking into with this book. So many of my book babes were telling me that I needed to read it....and I FINALLY got around to it. No background info. No blurb reading.... just jumped right in. The level of intensity was off the charts. This is absolutely a story of forbidden love and the things that they go through to get to their version of happily ever after. They have their work cut out for them. There is tragedy all over this story from the very first page. And their lives don't get any easier as the story goes along. I was all in on this one. Given the level of taboo that was involved I was not sure if I was going to like it but I gave it a shot and was completely immersed in their love and struggles. This story isn't for everyone. But I promise you that if you can handle reading about these things, the story involved is totally worth giving a shot to!

The only thing that I was unhappy about with this book was ..... DAMMIT! When can we find out if Carter and Lianne get back together FOR GOOD?!?!?

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book!
