Another fantastic book! And it tackled a very tough subject, rape! And more importantly, surviving rape. Bane, being the scary crazy looking guy that he is, would be the last person you would think a rape survivor would befriend when she has a hard time trusting anyone else. That's exactly why it works! He's blunt and has no problems talking about sex like it's nothing. He's safe. So she allows herself to trust him. The wait for these 2 to finally actually get together is excruciating! There is so much foreplay with these 2! (I say thing as a great thing). A lot of the time you will have these "slow burn" type books where there is a lot of tension with no relief at all. Not here. These 2 fool around like teenagers! 🔥🔥🔥 I was so excited to read this book and it was totally worth the wait! It was great and the characters were so easy to get behind! Absolutely one-click worthy! So you all should go do that now!

And I was constantly getting mad at the different obstacles that kept blocking them from their happily ever after! And when they are together..... they are HOT 🔥🔥🔥. The only thing that I was unhappy about with this book was ..... DAMMIT! When can we find out if Carter and Lianne get back together FOR GOOD?!?!?

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book! So if you are looking for spice, it isn't here!  But if you are looking for a heart felt, gut wrenching tale of love lost, then found again.... you are in the right place!  Mason was such a hot AF super alpha and was ready to take charge right away.  He knew he wanted it all and he wanted it with Payton!  Chase was sticking his meddling nose in where it didn't belong (AGAIN) and I was ready to figure out how to jump into the book just to punch him in the face!  But then look at him trying to redeem himself!  We shall see!  This story must have been a tough one for Meagan to tell.... they guilt and pain that Payton feels through out the whole book, over EVERYTHING and EVERYONE that she really has contact with.  But most of all the guilt about Deaton (the decease father of her son), Little D(eaton) and Mason.
