Review: Rising

Image
Rising by Laurelin Paige My rating: 5 of 5 stars I mean.... WOW! I don't love Celia..... but my hatred for her ran so deep that I didn't even think I would want to read anything in which she might get a HEA! I like her. I am happy with the way this whole situation wrapped up. I really really really LOVE Edward! Talk about swoony! He really gave me the feels in this book! Like gave me ALL the FEELS! I really think that through out this quartet both of them did a lot of growing and changing. To be fair, if you have read Fixed Forever you already had seen some of Celia's transformation.... but his was way more than I thought it was going to be. UGH! And could they freaking BE any cuter?!?!? By the way they start out you would think I was crazy calling them cute! I give this book all 5 swooning stars! And the entire quartet was on my list of top reads. And now I really feel like I need to just go and binge the whole entire world all over agai...

Review: Forgiven

Image
Forgiven by Leigh Lennon My rating: 5 of 5 stars So much love for these 3! This book starts off with a bang! And I mean a BANG! Jack MADE this story possible in my opinion! His patience and wisdom are what get everyone on the same page eventually. Clara and Bodhi have serious issues.... love was never a problem with these 2... but regaining her trust is going to be a tough sell. With good reason. But the way that Jack just brings them all together is so smooth...he made it look easy! If you enjoy MMF, second chance single parent story this is one you need to check out! It really does tick off all those boxes and then some! View all my reviews

Review: Surrender

Image
Surrender by Fiona Cole My rating: 5 of 5 stars Ahhhhh!!!! I just love Jackson and Jake! They are freaking wonderful! Getting to read about the planning of the wedding was so much fun! And an angry Jake was made to sound ridiculously hot!!!  ðŸ”¥ðŸ”¥ðŸ”¥  Love them so much!  And it also had a great lead into Another! View all my reviews

Review: Retreat

Image
Retreat by Nicole Dykes My rating: 5 of 5 stars Another wonderful story by Nicole Dykes! I am a total sucker for brother's best friend stories! And considering we saw Ty with some one else before... well he didn't behave very well at all when that didn't go his way. So I was not going into this one thinking very highly of him.... but I trusted Morgan to know what she wanted and needed and it made for a fantastic read... started and finished in the same day! So that should tell you something! View all my reviews

Review: Tennessee Truths

Image
Tennessee Truths by Ashley Munoz My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book constantly had me on pins and needles! Spitting up with an abusive man is always a scary thing. Throw in the heartbreak of the first person you ever loved and promised forever to.... my heart was pounding. Jace really never had the confidence that he tried to pretend he had. He was so hug up in his insecurities that he was believing someone that he KNEW to be an abuser, abusers lie and manipulate everyone and everything around them to get what they want. There was a LOT of back and forth in this book. But I am not kidding when I say that I loved every single heart pounding moment, and all the other moments too. Ashley did a great job of character growth in Faith. We saw Faith is so many different stages of her life. Having gone through all that she did, the bravery she showed every time she moved right a long. Yes she had her break downs.... but she picked herself right back up and ke...

Review: Reign of Brayshaw

Image
Reign of Brayshaw by Meagan Brandy My rating: 5 of 5 stars In this mind-blowing conclusion of the Brayshaw trilogy you get so many answers!!! Writing a review about this book without giving anything away is going to be so freaking difficult! But here I go.... This whole trilogy was amazing! I loved every single second of it. These ridiculously inspiring characters have some real great moments. There are points in the book where Raven has a totally priceless interaction with each of the boys! And even a pretty good heart to heart with Roland (if you can believe it). She is such as bad-ass! The way she handles all of her difficulties with cleverness and a complete sense of authority that you would never imaging from an 18 year old girl. Maddoc goes through some tough stuff in this story! And he does NOT deal with it well....I wanted to junk punch him on more than one occasion! And there were a few things that he did and said that had me feeling so disa...

Review: Trouble at Brayshaw High

Image
Trouble at Brayshaw High by Meagan Brandy My rating: 5 of 5 stars Ok... 24 hours later and I feel like I am still trying to process my feeling on this book, so bare with me. I have never felt so strongly that I want to do a binge reread of 2 books ever in my life! These books are EVERYTHING! I want so much more time with Raven and the boys! There are so many things that my brain is still going in circles over. I read this book in less than 24 hours. I was hiding my kindle at my desk at work because there was no way that I was putting it down? I already had to stop once to sleep.... that wasn't happening again. Maddoc says so many things that don't really sound all that sweet and lovey, but made me hard core swoon anyway. Getting to be inside his head a lot more this time around was so great! I always love a duel POV. There is so much going on in the world of Brayshaw and I can not get my brain off it all. The whole time I was reading my stoma...

Review: Professor Richter's Rules

Image
Professor Richter's Rules by Jessa York My rating: 5 of 5 stars YES!!! I freaking loved this story! OMG! Their story is so funny and hectic and so full of crazy coincidences! I loved every second of it! There was a point in the book where I did feel like things got a little rushed and there were a few things that I wish had been followed up with. But that did not take away from the greatness that I read! I am really loving this series by Jessa York! And then at the very end she gave a bit of a teaser for that the next book will be! And I am so freaking excited for that too! I love the females that are in these stories! I am not going to lie.... I remember Jake from Mr. Marshall's Methods.... and he completely surprised me in this story! His reactions to things, the sweet and corny things that he did, I just did not expect these things from him. He was a very GREAT surprise! Absolutely a top read of 2020! Can not recommend this book enough!!! ...

Review: Boys of Brayshaw High

Image
Boys of Brayshaw High by Meagan Brandy My rating: 5 of 5 stars For the love of all that is Holy! I am still having a hard time compiling all my thoughts on this book. If I could give a book more than 5 stars this would definitely be one that earned it! From very early on I felt everything! I honestly felt like I was that 17 year old girl. Confused. Lost. Alone. And then having a hard time not getting attached to the things I really wanted to get attached to. At first I hated the boys. I thought they were arrogant and spoiled. Then I when I got more into learning their story I was amazed! And then they took a liking to Raven and it was over! My heart was gone... so much teenage angst! And I cried!!! This book made me cry! The feels were there! The fact that I was personally feeling like I was back in my teen years tells you how great this writing is. I even had knots in my stomach to emphasize that teenage anxiety! The ending had me crying and feeling...

Review: Change in Strategy

Image
Change in Strategy by Sierra Hill My rating: 4 of 5 stars Another great read from Sierra Hill! Brody and Peyton are such a great couple. My only issue with Peyton was her always jumping to conclusions about things and automatically thinking the worst in Brody. But then again given what she was exposed to growing up and the fact that she had very little experience with men, it actually makes all the sense in the world. But these 2, together, made an awesome couple! And I fully enjoyed every second I got to spend with them! View all my reviews
