Review: American Prince

Image
American Prince by Sierra Simone My rating: 5 of 5 stars OMG! The heartbreak is real! 💔. I can't even... With this series! Reading about the past from Embry's POV was so freaking fascinating! He is so much better and stronger than he thinks he is. Ash and Greer see more in him and he never thinks he's worthy. And yet another bomb is dropped at the end. Honestly I did not see it coming. And the way Embry goes about things, even from his POV I question his motive. I'm keeping faith that his heart is in the right place.... So I must leave to go continue the story..... Review: American Queen

Image
American Queen by Sierra Simone My rating: 5 of 5 stars ARE. YOU. FUCKING. KIDDING. ME?!?!? What the hell? 😳. I'm just astonished at the ending of this book. (I'm almost done with American Prince and I still can't wrap my head around it). This story of a love triangle is the start of something EPIC. Greer. Ash. Embry. They each have a profound love for each other. Both individually and as a triangle. They all go through their own process to make the decision they make together. And just when you think they'll get their HEA.... A bomb drops.... And then the cliffhanger. 🙄 I'm glad I waited to read these until all 3 books have been published. And now I'm going to go so I can finish the next book! View all my reviews

Review: Fixed Forever

Image
Fixed Forever by Laurelin Paige My rating: 5 of 5 stars Absolutely wonderful!!! The return of Hudson and Alayna was everything I hoped it would be! I always wonder what "happily ever after" looks like for some of my favorite couples. We have gotten to see little pieces of theirs in the other books from the Fixed universe. Getting another full length book on them was fantastic. It was a reminder that even "happily ever after" requires work and compromise. This was a very suspenseful book that constantly had me thinking. Hudson was receiving threats against his family, and he did the typical Hudson things. He should know that trying to keep things from Alayna doesn't work... she snoops into everything! Hudson starts digging into his past so that he can try to figure out who is sending these threats. The story sends you into different directions of who you may think that it is.... and when I found out who it was I was SHOCKED! Th...

Review: Nerdgasm

Image
Nerdgasm by Kimberly Reese My rating: 5 of 5 stars Oh. This. Book! To say that I enjoyed this book would be a severe understatement! Theo and Addy were just adorable! The progression of their relationship stayed so true to who the characters were. The sexual tension was very real, and so warranted! Theo totally makes being a nerd with a stutter super sexy! 🤓 After hearing about his relationship with Demi (his best friend since childhood), you knew that any woman who was going to win his heart had to be very strong willed and secure with herself. Addy was exactly that woman. She had such confidence in herself while interacting with Theo, making the first move in just about everything! "You said you'd always keep me safe, and I knew my heart was safe with you." ~Addy 😭💖 Does it really get any sweeter than that? There is no way I could give this book anything other than 5 nerd 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.... unless I could give it more. Everyone needs t...

Review: Chase

Image
Chase by Lane Hart My rating: 5 of 5 stars Holy freaking heartbreak!💔😭 I don't know what I was expecting from a MC romance from Lane Hart.... but a serious heart break with a semi cliffhanger was NOT it! This bad boy, second chance, forbidden love story really tugged at my heart strings! Chase and Sasha were high school sweethearts who were torn apart by unfortunate circumstances that her parent took advantage of. When their paths cross again 10 years later, they have to decide if they are going to take the chance to be together or walk away thinking it would be easier. Many things happen with the MC that make Chase think that it would be best to walk away. But Sasha is quite stubborn and feels like taking a chance on love is worth the risk... even if the price could be your life. While this is a story about Chase and Sasha, there is a lot of other "family" members that you learn about. And they really are like a family. When somethin...

Review: THAT MAN 6

Image
THAT MAN 6 by Nelle L'Amour My rating: 5 of 5 stars It is always so great to revisit old friends! Getting to read about Blake and Jennifer again was so much fun! And I totally missed them. They are still the same sex-crazed, hot A.F. crazy kids they were in the very first That Man. Blake is absolutely THAT MAN! Jennifer has her hands full. In this story Jen and Blake end up on their very own deserted island. You can imagine what these two got up to in their alone time. When they said they wanted romantic alone time for their 10th anniversary I do not think they meant this alone! They things they get up to while awaiting rescue will literally have you laughing out loud, and maybe even gasp a little. Possibly shed a tear? But will it be tears of laughter or sadness??? Blake and Jen have always been one of my favorite couple so I was very excited to see what they had planned for their anniversary! I think you all need to go get this book and read it...

Review: Unveiling Hope

Image
Unveiling Hope by Jeannine Allison My rating: 5 of 5 stars Sam and Derek are so adorable together!!! 😍😍😍 This is the very classic tale of a brother's best friend story. Derek is 7 years older than Sam and friends with her brother. So of coarse there will be some apprehension in them getting together. Derek does what all of them do.... lied to her brother and telling him that she was just a friend and he only sees her as a kid. Sam did what all girls do... eavesdropped on the conversation and heard something she did not want to hear. They both have some serious self esteem issues that they each need to overcome. This book has all the feels! 🎶🎶🎶 Music brings them together once... and it can bring them together again! There were a couple times when I teared up while reading (which always sucks because who can read through tears???) 🌟🌟🌟I have only read 2 of the Unveiling books at this time (I think I have the other 3 on my kindle just haven...

Review: On the Edge

Image
On the Edge by C.D. Reiss My rating: 5 of 5 stars Wow! This was a tough book to read! But it was SO worth it. This book was so great!!!! C.D. Reiss has written some of the most gritty, raw stories I have ever read. Greyson has got her work cut out for her. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to love some one with such metal issues. But the fact that she is a psychiatrist and that she HAS the answers but she just cant do the things that she needs to do to help her husband. As had as it was to read this book, it took me all of a day to devour it! I did not want to put it down. Greyson is so strong! Caden does not make things easier on her at all! While he loves her, he does not really seem to want to seek real help for the issue that he is facing. And that on its own is so freaking frustrating to me!!! I kind of want to punch him in the throat at times. It ends with another cliffhanger and so now I am eagerly awaiting the next book so that I ca...

Review: After I Was His

Image
After I Was His by Amelia Wilde My rating: 4 of 5 stars We finally get to know what happened to Wes!!!!! While he tries to ditch out on his sister's wedding, she sends her best friend to find him. When Whitney finds him, she convinced him to come to the wedding in an interesting way. Wes was in the military and went through some bad stuff, but refuses to believe that he has anything wrong with him since he wasn't the one that came home missing a leg. Whitney is so care free and social that she literally pulls him out of his hermit ways. Whitney and Wes are one of the best matched couples that I have read about. They are total opposites and it works for them! It was a very good book and I was glad to see what happened with Wes... I was a little worried about him. View all my reviews

Review: Encore: A Reverse Harem Romance

Image
Encore: A Reverse Harem Romance by Lane Hart My rating: 5 of 5 stars Oh for the love of all that it HOTT!!! I am quite used to Lane Hart writing books that are H.A.F. but this one was on a whole new level! Tessa works for a record label. She is told that she needs to go get this band of 4 men under control to get them to start producing music again. She definitely had her work cut out for her. All 4 men are so different. The way that she gets together with each of them has its own fascinating story behind them! I love that this woman did not care too much about what others may think of her, she was only concerned with that these 4 men thought of her and how they saw her. I loved this book! The Reverse Harem is pretty new to me, but with writing like this I am thinking that I will be totally into it! Loved the hotness. Loved the LOVE. Loved they conflicted feelings! Loved it all!!!!
