Review: Jeremy

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was the first book that I read in the In Safe Hands series. I really liked it! And it gave me a look at some of the other characters from the earlier books, so now I want to go back and read them too!
Jeremy is hot and troubled! Melissa was determined to make a new life for herself. But she had this super rude neighbor who liked to spend his time in a drunken state being the biggest jerk on the face of the earth. The enemies-to-lovers vibe in this story was fantastic! I loved how Jeremy tended to be hot then cold and Melissa really didn't know what to make of him. Their dynamic was super fun to read about. I really did "LOL" a few times. And it only took me one day to read! (I just happened to have the day off and started it this morning) So I was quite invested in finding out how everything played out. Definitely a great read. Not too angst-y (if that's even a word) with a little bit of suspense. A wonderful light read that had me not wanting to put it down. What could be sweeter than 2 lonely hearts finding each other and having to convince the mind that they need to be together?
