Review: Stockholm

Stockholm Stockholm by Leigh Lennon
My rating:of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this book. I didn't read the blurb at all. I basically went in blind with only an idea of what the book would be about given the name. I was not entirely correct. You can guess by the name that it is about a woman that is taken captive and then she falls for her captor. It was not as dark as I thought it was going to be. When I was not expecting was the back story that went with it! I really loved that it came from 3 different POV, I was getting a little lost with the 3 POV and going back and forth between now and then the abduction took place. I thought it really was a great showing of how these things end up affecting the whole family, and even future members of the family. I thought it was a great book and had some really fantastic jaw dropping moments... and one HUGE bomb drop! (this had me totally wishing that there had been more in the book from David/Nolan's POV) The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star read for me was that I didn't feel any emotional attachment to the main characters. I think that may have been in large part to all the jumping around. Since the POV were from 3 completely different areas and the constant time hopping. I just don't feel like that left my brain a whole lot of room for attachment.
