Woah!  I think I am head over heels in love with Lance and Mica!  This is a couple with some strength!  Their story begins with their friends getting together, so they meet.  Of course being the player that he is, he was hitting on her.  He had been warned by his friends not to mess with her since she is in their social circle.  They seem to keep ending up having make out sessions every now and then in the year and a half that they have been friends.  Lance does like to party, and he comes with a lot of baggage.  Things that Mica really cannot relate to.  But can she handle dealing with the baggage he comes with?

This story is a great friends to lovers romance.  They have very serious issues that they face as a couple.  There was more than one point where I had to put my Kindle down because I couldn’t read through the tears…. Both happy and sad tears.  I am not going to lie, I did get a bit mad at Lance for a couple things…but that goes with the territory.  I have not read the other stories that came before this one, but I think I may be going back to get to know how these other couples got together.

                                                                               Stealing Heats by Lex Martin     4.25🌟 4🔥      This book was JUST what I needed!  It was hot, fast-paced, a bit of suspense, and a woman-you-love-to-hate!  Brother's best friend, but with the added angst that the brother died Rhett wants to save his family's ranch and the only way he can get a loan is to be married.  Paige needs to rehab an injury, but has no insurance to do it.  So win/win.  And then they go and let feelings get involved.  But with the way that Paige seamlessly fits right into his family with all his brothers, there was no way that feelings wouldn't come about.... not to mention the history and Paige's ch...

  Promise Me Not by Meagan Brandy          5🌟 2🔥 Definitely worth the wait! This was a SUPER SLOW BURN book!
