Review: I Am Lioness

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Getting into this book was a little slow for me, mostly because I am really not into fighting all that much. But just like Hazel I was pulled in by Knox's eyes (or at least the description of them). The connection between these 2 was so intense that I could feel it!
Hazel doesn't let too many people get close to her. She has dealt with a lot of loss and tries to avoid making connections as much as possible. Then came Knox. He pulled her in with his charm and cockiness. Once he had her, he was not letting her push him away. Hazel feels like their connection gets too strong too fast, so Knox agrees to slow it down. Since she was traveling they texted, talked on the phone and did Face time. But when she needed him, he dropped everything to be by her side. There are some sad moments. There are some funny moments. There are absolutely some hot moments. There are some suspenseful moments. I went through all kinds of feelings while reading this book, but boredom was NOT one of them!
