Move the Stars by Jessica Hawkins book 3 in the Something in the Way series 5 🌟 Oh holy craziness!  So in this book Lake has gone off to find her own life in New York.  Good for her!  She is there for 4 years building her life to something that is HERS and not what others were planning for her.  But the minute Manning shows back up in her life she is right back to where she started. But at least in this book, Manning is more willing to own his feelings and less about beating himself up.  But then, of course, Tiffany has to come back in and destroy all the great plans that Lake and Manning had been making.  Then another few years later, Lake moves back to LA.  Manning and Tiffany were divorced but he has yet to make contact with Lake.  So she just keeps on..... making her life.  But she isnt happy.  She ends up running into him and they make a date for her to come see his new home.   This book ends with a HEA..... but th...

Somebody Else's Sky by Jessica Hawkins Book 2 in the Something in the Way series 4 🌟 When I tell you that Manning is THE most FRUSTRATING man I have read in a LONG time I am not even kidding!  The WREAKS of self loathing!  Totally reminds me of Edward from Twilight in his self deprecation!  But Lake.... that is a girl who KNOWS what she wants and is bold enough to go after it!  Even though it might not be the brightest idea, she goes in full heart out there!  And when this book ends you will be left feeling heartbroken, betrayed and ready for the next book!!!

Something in the Way by Jessica Hawkins

Something in the Way by Jessica Hawkins book 1 in the Something in the Way series 4 🌟 This book was a little slow moving at some points, but considering it is the first of 4 books that was to be expected. The book starts in 1993, Lake is only 16 and she meets Manning, who is 23. In comes Tiffany, Lake's 19 year old sister. Not gonna lie, I don't like her much. But her character serves a purpose, so she is tolerable. There is some kind of pull with Lake and Manning, but given that she is a minor and the age difference, they cant be together. There is NO spice in this book..... but quite a bit of tension and angst. I like Lake and Manning..... so I am looking forward to seeing what more happens. It ends on a semi-cliffy. So now I am off to read the next book!

Road to Absolution by India R Adams 5  🌟 So this is what I THINK is the conclusion of Delilah and Maverick's story (but with India, you never know).  This goes through their life after his car crash and how he tries to rebuild his life with her after it all.  It definitely was NOT the happily ever after we had all been hoping for after all they had been though.  But then again, if it were, what story would there have been to tell?  It's mostly the telling of Maverick and how he comes back from near death.  He can not box anymore so he has to find another way to provide for his wife and child.  And he must figure out how to protect them.  He (and Tucker too) join the Redemption Ryders MC as a way to keep all their families safe.  But he isn't happy in his new situation.  He feels like he is letting his wife down and causing trouble for his MC brothers.  Delilah "lets him go" with the hope that when he spreads his wings...... ...
