Evil Love by Ella Fields My rating: 5 of 5 stars Wow!  I don't know what I was expecting but it sure wasn't this!  I tend to get lost in some books... this one took me one day to read.  I made the joke that I couldn't start in on a Thursday night because then I wouldn't sleep and would get fired for reading while at work.... Ok all joking aside.... that is exactly what would have happened!  This book totally had me.  The way that Fern seemed like she was this innocent and shy girl.... but she was quite brazen when it came to Jude. Totally wore her heart on her sleeve, which made it entirely too easy for him to rip it off and stomp on it.  The things that he did to torment her for the sake of pushing her away, because he couldn't seem to keep away from her, were unthinkable and to be completely honest.... I was not sure that I wanted her to forgive him.  The H rarely makes me THAT angry that I am hoping the h finds he...

Blackmailed By My Dad's Boss by S.E. Law My rating: 4 of 5 stars New to me author.... saw this book on a Facebook ad and the name alone had me completely intrigued! It was pretty darn good! The blackmail part was actually quite hilarious.... and boy were there some REALLY hot scenes! Tammy was a bit too insecure and it didn't seem like she really grew into herself by the end of the book (not counting the epilogue).... being with such an older guy I would hope that she would have gained a bit more confidence before their HEA, mainly because I would like to have seen it.... but it really was a good story. Restrained by Nicole Dykes My rating: 5 of 5 stars Oh this family! The Sterlings' make me feel so many things! What I had seen of Lola before had me really not liking her. She was too controlling and sticking her nose in business it didn't belong in. I am still not her biggest fan.... but in comes Hayden! And while you start out thinking that you want to hate him..... you can see real quickly that he is PERFECT for her! He totally gets her and gets TO her. I think that he did a great job of coming into this family that is quite intense and has a lot of issues and then he just comes in and takes it all in stride. Another great Sterling story! Slash by Laurelin Paige My rating: 5 of 5 stars It is kind of rare that I give a novella 5 stars. Usually they are not long enough to get me emotionally pulled into the story. That was absolutely NOT the case here! Camilla's story is one that got to me. I can not even imagine how difficult her story must have been to write, but Laurelin Paige did a fantastic job! Making it powerful enough without getting into too many details! And Hendrix is one of those hero's that gets you right in the soul from the very beginning! The things he says, the way he behaves.... on a scale of 1-10 on the swoon meter he is ABSOLUTELY a 10! I love their story! It was one that will be sticking with me for quite some time!
