Review: The Perfect Woman

Image
The Perfect Woman by Nicole French My rating: 5 of 5 stars Wow! This book had me on a ride! In this part of the story they are actually trying to stay away from each other (for a while).... and you start to see Nina become her own person. It is a slow process but she keeps on picking up a little more and more as she goes. She comes to the conclusion that she and Matthew will not be able to be together after all is said and done..... but you still see her taking the steps to make a life she wants for herself and her daughter! It is a BEAUTIFUL thing to see happening! Along with this... there is also the mystery of what her husband is actually up to (even though we basically know) and who he is working with. And you find out some of it..... but there is still so much more to learn! Still so many things I need to know... I NEED THE NEXT BOOK NOW!!! In the meantime I am going to make a nice list of horrible things I want to see happen to one certain fem...

Review: Temptation

Image
Temptation by Leigh Lennon My rating: 5 of 5 stars Oh how I love Chadwick and his Kitten! They are truly a story about the effort you have to put in to get what you want. And about compromise! With her horrible trust issues, thanks to her dad, Chadwick has some very string walls to get through. But he will have to really put in the effort and compromise to make it work....with him being a rich man who is not used to NOT getting what he wants, that is going to be quite a chore. But he thinks she is worth it.....now he just needs to make her see that he is worth it too. Love the way they come together and love the way that they banter and flirt. This is totally a slow burn at its finest! And I am all for the next one.... I need more of this Dungeon Elite men!!! View all my reviews

Review: The Jezebel

Image
The Jezebel by Dylan Allen My rating: 5 of 5 stars Holy swooniness! I have got to say that I love visiting River's Wilde! First I loved Hayes.... then I loved Remi more..... move over guys.... STONE RIVERS HAS TAKEN OVER! Dang that man is about as swoony as it gets! I have been looking forward to Regan's story for a while now because from the little that we had of her before I totally felt like she was going to have a great story to tell. So I was already pretty sure that I was going to love this book.... what I did not expect was Stone! I did not at all expect to have my heart totally swept up into their affair! During their time together, it was so romantic and so full of love that I didn't want to keep reading because I didn't want to feel the heartbreak that I knew was coming. But I continued .... and it was all worth it. Even when Stone was trying to at like he was going to be a big jerk.... that romantic side pushed harder! The...

Review: Perfectly Imperfect Us

Image
Perfectly Imperfect Us by Marika Ray My rating: 4 of 5 stars This was a very sweet change of pace! And it had a really great lesson in the story. Super model man moves back to home town to start liking the girl next door. They both have trust and security issues and they seem to work through them together.... until the THING happens.... you know... the thing that threatens to tear apart our happy couples! Yeah that THING. But you will have to get the book and read it to find out what it is.... and if they get through it! View all my reviews

Review: Restrictions

Image
Restrictions by Nicole Dykes My rating: 5 of 5 stars This is one of those books that I have no idea what to say in my review. Not in a bad way..... it is more like a "HOLY FUCK?!?!? What did I just read?" kind of way. I already knew this story was going to pull me in and tear me apart.... but I did NOT expect the severity of my feelings! So its a story about a guy that moves in with his deceased brother's baby momma.... and you already know what is going to happen..... with her being a single mom and him being an immature player I thought that I was going to get super mad at him.... I did not! I was so angry at Vivienne that I was finding it so hard to breathe! Asher was not perfect.... he was a downright douche ..... but what she did was so so so so much worse in my opinion! I was having physical reactions to this book. I cried, I felt my stomach come up into my throat..... I wanted to throw my kindle.... I sent shouty messages to peop...

Review: Dismount

Image
Dismount by Lucia Franco My rating: 5 of 5 stars Gah!!! The highly anticipated finale in the Off Balance Series is FINALLY HERE!!! And it did not disappoint! With the insane cliffhanger ending to Twist, I have been going out of my mind with the possibilities of what will happen! And then once it was on my kindle.... I just stared at the cover. Not sure if I was ready for this! I WAS NOT! I cried so many times! Happy, sad, angry and frustrated tears! There were all there. The love that Kova and Ria share is definitely a roller coaster ride. Through the whole series they both have their back and forth moments... hot then cold. This book was no different! What I really really really loved was that Kova finally started to open up about his feelings! I won't tell you how or what they are, but getting that glimpse into his mind was honestly the thing that totally MADE this book EPIC for me! My feelings are still very raw right now. Lucia took me on a...

Review: Silver-Tongued Devil

Image
Silver-Tongued Devil by Lorelei James My rating: 5 of 5 stars Holy cripes! I am so in love with this story! I have LOVED the McKay's since I very first read Long Hard Ride (still a favorite to this day). So when Cowboy Take Me Away came out I was all over it! The chance to see where all these McKay men came from! How they came to be the men (and woman for Keely) was just too good to pass up... Carolyn and Carson lived up to all the ideas that I had about them through all the other books.... And not to get the story of the original McKay's was everything I hoped for and more. Finding out the details about how the feud with the West family began was just fascinating. And that Jonas had not originally wanted to be a rancher, but was a law man (so Cam was not too far off!) It's been quite a while since I read a historical romance... so reading about the courting and hoe life was then was so much fun. And I cried! OMG did I cry! Lorelei James ...
