Review: Regrets

Image
Regrets by Nicole Dykes My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book was so addicting! I did not want to put it down at all! I was all over it. I got a couple glimpses here and there of what it was about (I don't read blurbs for the most part)but it did not at all prepare me for what I was about to read! The story is about a girl who falls in love with 2 brothers. One basically claims her from the beginning so that is who she goes along with.... but that is not the end of the story. This book had so many twists and turns that once you thought you had it all figured out and what people were going to do... another huge AF bomb would be dropped! So have the alcohol ready because YOU WILL NEED IT! Wine.... shots... whatever. Have it handy! So much greatness and I can not wait to find out what happens to some of the other people in the family! So good! View all my reviews

Review: Absolution

Image
Absolution by Autumn Grey My rating: 5 of 5 stars Wow! So I have to say that when there is a trilogy, I usually have an issue with writing my review for the middle book. I am not sure why but that 2nd book almost always leaves me feeling kinda "meh".... not with Grace and Sol! Holy crap! These 2 took me through it all! ALL OF IT!!! Their HEA was totally earned and very hard fought for! He absolutely is the calm to her storm! I really could not even imagine a man more perfect for her than Sol! He is everything that she needs! And there were so many secondary characters in these stories that Autumn Grey could write in this world for a long time! Sol and Grace stole my heart at the beginning and they broke it in the middle and they pieced it back together for the end! A fantastic trilogy! I literally can not even think of anything better to say about these books and this ending. I love them! They did not disappoint! And I look forward to seein...

Review: Uber Bossy

Image
Uber Bossy by Marika Ray My rating: 4 of 5 stars Another great funny read. Nora and Jayden are so wonderful! And Nora is about as funny as they come... which is good since Jayden starts out with a stick up his butt. There wasn't a thing about this story that I did not love.... there was an office scene... a town/county fair.... beautiful baby moments.... and some REALLY HOT stuff too! What more could you want? Loved it. View all my reviews

Review: Stepbrother X2

Image
Stepbrother X2 by Sierra Hill My rating: 4 of 5 stars HOLY FREAKING HOTNESS! Damn this story was hot! This story of adoptive brothers that like to be with the same women.... whew! Country star and his adoptive brother (who is also his manager) have an assistant, whom they apparently both have a thing for and do nothing about.... until the day she spies an encounter that they are BOTH having with a groupie! Not only did that her her ideas flowing but it gave them the perfect opportunity to proposition her without it seeming like her job was dependent on saying yes..... BUT OF COARSE SHE'LL SAY YES! Especially since she gets to be called sugar and darlin all the time....swooning! Quick little read that is so hot and a cute story to go with it! LOVED! View all my reviews

Review: Without Regret

Image
Without Regret by Aubrey Bondurant My rating: 5 of 5 stars Wow! I am super in LOVE with Trevor! This man is one of the swooniest men I have read about this year! The things he said! Holy hotness! Some of the things that he said were so freaking hot and yet they still made me swoon because of the sweetness! Sweetness and Hotness are a recipe for a fan-freaking-tastic book! And Emma is just so ready! She doesn't know it, but after the way she was with Simon and Peyton (In Without Apology) she was ready for love too! And Trevor is really just the man to make sure that she realizes she is ready for it too! I have been a fan of Aubrey's books since the very beginning (literally like a month after she published Tell Me Something I was totally stalking her)..... but I some how managed to miss this series! I am so SO glad that I am taking time to go back to them! These books really are a treasure.... A hot, sweet, wonderful treasure... and I can not ...

Review: Repent

Image
Repent by Cassandra Robbins My rating: 5 of 5 stars Edge and Dolly have that "love for the ages" thing happening. There are so many things that keep these 2 apart....But mostly it was themselves getting in their own way. There were times when I wanted to slap one (or both) of them. I cried! Yes I cried. And I wanted to throw my kindle at least 2 times. This love story starts all the way back when they are kids. And it takes you through some different stages of their lives together. High school Edge and Dolly were really entertaining. I am not going lie, there are some times when you start to feel like Edge is being too harsh with her. And there was one scene where I wanted to jump into the book and physically harm him. But you have to let Edge and Dolly work themselves out. Numerous times I kept thinking "I just want them to be together!" Nothing came easy for them, but it was all totally worth it in the end. I know everyone likes...

Review: Unsupervised

Image
Unsupervised by S.M. Shade My rating: 5 of 5 stars Hilarious! SM Shade had me cracking up laughing all over the place again! She knows how to write some super funny and awkward scenes! Virgin falls for her teacher..... completely inexperienced (despite the fact that she was previously engaged) and not wanting to tell him.... you can only imagine how that plays out. It is another great example of how the people of Viole(n)t Circle are crazy AF, party like its 1999.... but still come together for each other when ever they need it! I love this community. And even though it isn't exactly the same people as before, the community feel is all the same. With all the craziness.... drunk parties..... police visits....ALL the greatness you expect from the tenants of Viole(n)t Circle.... just a new class! Definitely a one click in my opinion. Who doesn't need a whole lot of laughs in their life? SM Shade made my day with this book! Love it! ...
