Review: Hearts and Thorns

Image
Hearts and Thorns by Ella Fields My rating: 5 of 5 stars Loved! This book was not (well to me anyway) not as gut wrenching as some of Ella's other books.... but it still packed a punch. Literally I felt like I was punched in the stomach! This story of step siblings falling in love is one that I can see people having a hard time getting behind, especially since they actually grew up together. And at some point Jackson turns into this total jerk face that I just wanted Willa to slap him! And at times I wanted to shake Willa so that hopefully she would actually smack him.... he totally deserved it on more than one occasion. There were a few heart breaking moments, and they made me tear up a bit. This story was a great telling of their struggles. Definitely a book I would recommend to anyone who doesn't have an issue with the step siblings aspect. View all my reviews

Review: Gabe and Ian

Gabe and Ian by Lane Hart My rating: 5 of 5 stars Wow! This book was not what I was expecting.... and I mean that in a absolute best way! I was totally expecting a MM book.... but then Quincey happened! And she was freaking awesome! She was just about the best kind of female! I was quite intrigued before this book about how the story of Gabe and Ian was going to work out.... better than I could have imagined! This MC is just so awesome! And I love that we keep hearing from previous couples and you get the idea that they are all one big happy family! There has been no book in this series that I have not completely loved! Love the Savage Kings! Loved loved loved Gabe and Ian AND Quincey! They were so great! And the building of the relationship was a totally genius way to go about things! View all my reviews

Review: Show Me Something

Show Me Something by Aubrey Bondurant My rating: 5 of 5 stars Wow! I am so surprised that I had not read this one yet (especially since I read all the other books in the series right when they came out) It is so funny that Mark and Juliette had never met until now.... I mean, you would think that their paths would have to have crossed already! But no.... and she introduced herself in epic Juliette fashion! Then of coarse Mark had absolutely no choice but to find it both amusing and super sexy! When you get to read a story about 2 people getting together, and they were both a huge part in helping some of you favorite couples get together, you can not help but get super emotionally involved! Mark and Juliette's story was so heartfelt and wonderful.... I had so many feeling while reading this book! It was totally worth the wait to see Mark get his HEA after the heartbreak you heard about his suffering all the way back in Tell Me Something! I am so b...
