Review: Last First Kiss

Last First Kiss by Jane Anthony My rating: 5 of 5 stars I went into this book feeling like I was going to get a decent dose of heartbreak.... what I didn't expect was to cry NUMEROUS times and be unable to put it down. Let's start with Jesse and Wren.... friends to lovers is totally my jam! I can not exactly pin point why, but it just is. Their timing is just crap. Then of coarse there is that she is dating a rich lawyer at the beginning and Jesse comes from the wrong type of family from the wrong side of town. I legit wanted to punch Asher (the rich guy) in the face more than once.... and Wren's dad REALLY made me angry. Basically this book brought out some very strong emotions from me. The only bad thing I can say about this book is that it is now over and I really want to experience it for the first time all over again! Jane Anthony took me through all the emotions.... and I loved every single second of it. (and I dare you all to look ...

Review: Game Changer

Game Changer by Sierra Hill My rating: 5 of 5 stars 11 hours! 11 HOURS PEOPLE!!! I started this book 11 hours ago! I could not put it down. I growled at my husband for making me get up to help cook dinner. My heart is still recovering from so many things that this book threw at me! Garrett is a single dad to a child with special needs son.... Brooklyn is the woman that comes in to help take care of Caleb. ( I am sorry if this seems a bit off because I am still trying to gather my feelings as I type) The story that these 3 create is noting short of spectacular! My hands are still shaking!! That is how shaken I was by this book. There was one line that just killed me. KILLED ME!!! And when you all get to it you will know which one it is! I have read the other reviews, so I was not expecting this book to hit me so hard! This book was absolutely phenomenal! Sierra Hill has this way of pulling me into the story, like I am actually in it as one of the char...

Review: Like Father Like Son

Like Father Like Son by Leigh Lennon My rating: 5 of 5 stars I can not even begin to tell you how great I think this book is. When I first heard the premise of it I wondered how I would feel about the taboo-ness of it all, but hey I will give it a shot..... I am so glad that I did! At this point, I am a little mad because.... damn you with that cliffhanger! There were some total alpha-male make me swoon kind of moments. Maguire is absolutely a man! And he calls Holland darlin'!!! If you have read many of my reviews, y'all know how I feel about men that use the term darlin'....all the 😍😍😍. You know from the very beginning that these 2 are going to have some major bumps in their road to a HEA....the question is are they willing to face them head on, or turn tail and hide? It is absolutely a slow burn kind of book.... but I am betting that the fireworks will be worth the wait! I am on pins and needles waiting for Different as Night and Da...

Review: Standstill

Standstill by Nicole Dykes My rating: 5 of 5 stars So yeah.... this book did me in! I read this in 1 day! I could have lost my job because I kept pulling out my Kindle while I was supposed to be working! But I just couldn't leave Ash and Garrett! It just wasn't possible! I didn't ugly cry with this book, but it had me crying! Like I would have a couple tears leak out .... and then would move on... another chapter or 2 later I had the tears again! Non-stop! Through the whole book!!! This was not the kind of book that had one side in the wrong. Both of them had stuff to work through and get themselves together. And no one of them left the other ... they both continued to go back and forth, which I thought was awesome because you didn't think you had to choose sides. You didn't feel like you had to hate any one. Now I went into this book totally blind. I only knew the name and the cover... I did not read any blurbs or teasers. And in...
