Review: Rivalry

Image
Rivalry by Laurelin Paige My rating: 5 of 5 stars WHAT DID I JUST READ?!?!?!? I will start this by saying that I hate Celia with a passion! The way she wouldn't let go of Hudson was so infuriating! Ugh! I can't even go back there right now! So I hate this chick right..... why the hell did I start feeling sorry for her half way through this story? Why??? I don't know!!!!! It's like now that she seems to want love (which she is still in denial about) this guy comes along and takes that away from her by playing her own game. You would think that I would be jumping for joy.... why am I not jumping for joy??? And the cliffhanger killed me! Literally had my jaw dropped and mouth wide open! I am so ready to get the next one to see what happens!!! I need to know what happens with Edward and Celia! He seems like he is so hot and cold..... and he does some of the sweetest things! But makes it sound like it was "just because". I really...

Review: Remember Me

Remember Me by Nelle L'Amour My rating: 5 of 5 stars The powerful feelings that I have had while reading this book are beyond words. Nelle has taken a very sensitive subject and has turned it into a very sexy and extremely suspenseful story that I could not put down. (darn sleep and adulting for getting in the way). It is very difficult to get too into this review without spoiling the story. So I will go with the simple fact that this is a story that needs to be told. In the beginning I thought the story was going one way.... then it took a completely different turn. I was feeling scared and then gutted.... total emotional mess! But there were some oh so sweet scenes that just made me swoon like crazy. The hotness level was pretty high in some spots... and there was a very even amount of sexual tension that kept you hoping for the pounce to come! I was very happy with the way things turned out in this story and I completely recommend it to just a...

Review: Disgraceful

Disgraceful by Autumn Grey My rating: 5 of 5 stars I seriously don't even know where to begin! I thought I was heart broken at the end of Desolate.... that was NOTHING compared to the pain I am feeling now! (and it is a very delicious kind of pain) Yes it ends on a cliffhanger. This book also has a love triangle, which I usually hate because I tend to side with one guy and then the heroine usually does not pick the man I thought she should be with. The way that Autumn wrote this story, it is really hard to be mad at anyone involved. I could not pick a side at all! As soon as I saw that 3rd name come up I knew I was in for a ride. As if that wasn't enough to get my heart breaking and my stomach all in knots the end came. You thin that you might get some relief. Maybe a little break from the angst...... NOPE! While I was reading the end I was thinking "damn this is a crazy ending, I can't wait to get the next book to see what happens...

Review: Unraveled

Unraveled by Aubrey Bondurant My rating: 5 of 5 stars ✨Top Reads 2019✨ And the award for the book to make me cry the most in 2019 is???? Unraveled! Holy cripes! This book it worth ALL THE STARS! I cried all the ugly tears, both happy and sad ones. Aubrey took me on a ride with this story! The characters are lovable and relatable from the very beginning. Kellen is one of the swooniest men ever! OMG could he get any sweeter? And Layla is so freaking feisty! I love them together! This is one of those stories that I know will be staying with me for a long time! The subject was real and very raw. The emotions that were coming out of this book were so prominent that I can not even imagine the emotion it took to write it. I have read other books by Aubrey Bondurant (Tell Me Something is still one of my top 20 of all time faves!) but this one.... this one got me in the heart! I have loved her other books, but this one totally showcased her ability to write s...
